Just noticed this.

Is this an known issue?  Do the allowed enhancements change as you level?  I don't recall seeing this before.

 

I was doing a little enhancement upgrading on a lvl 37 beast/rad mastermind and noticed that the lioness slots have a defense and health enhancement in them.  When I went to throw higher level ones in, it didn't work.  When I look at the allowed enhancement window it shows they're not allowed.  I know they were when I put them in.  It also shows the ones that are there aren't doing anything.  Screenshot shows what I am trying to describe.

They recently moved the Defense and Heal enhancements to the equip/upgrade powers instead of the pets themselves. You probably had it slotted before the patch.
