Illusion Dark Incarnate Hybrid Question

Does anyone have a recommendation for the hybrid incarnate slot on illusion/dark?

 

Does assault buff my pets (other than Phantom army)? I'm not seeing anything that stands out right away. Surviving is not a problem at all, even against exotic damage types. If Assault only buffs me, it doesn't seem like it would really be that much of a damage increase.

I went with support core on my ill/dark for the def buffs to softcap pretty much everything while its up with perma fade in effect. Support seems to offer the best overall spread of effects- dam.acc, end discount, mez and healing buffs plus the pet double effect for core.

Decoys summoned while Doublehit Assault is active maintain the buff until it wears off of you.

 

It's a large and noticeable damage increase for decoys.
