Holiday Events and badges?

Not sure if this was a topic already or not, but are there any plans on doing holiday events like the old game use to do? If not, is there a way to get event badges and salvage? Thanks!

It's built into the game to have the Holiday Events (Halloween, Winter, Valentines), no Dev Work Required (I mean maybe a small config change, but they don't have to code them in)...

 

Summer Blockbuster has been made a permanent event....
