Staff/Regen basic IO build?

So I have played around with Regen post-nerf some more, and decided to roll a staff guy because, why not? Problem is, I'm nowhere even near as familiar with regen as it is now, as opposed to the prime days, and staff fighting is one I am finally getting to. I have no idea where to go with base IO slotting these days, and could really use some help. Making an IO set build, I can do later no problem, but I need a solid foundation to start on, any assistance would be awesome.
