8/22 Patch Issue: Steam Controller Not Working

Homecoming

Homecoming(64-Bit)

Do not fully recognize the Steam Controller. 

 

In the short-term running

Homecoming(Safe Mode)

which fully recognizes the Steam Controller as it did prior to patch.

For the uninitiated, what game features are disabled in "Safe Mode"? I have an unrelated mouse-control issue, and am wondering if it'd be worth it to try safe mode to fix it.

 

Also, assuming that the game gets fixed to recognize the steam controller once again, can you point me to a decent configuration? I'd LOVE to play CoX from the couch!

I think safe mode is the untouched client prior to any of the 64-bit updates.  So it should conceivably still work.
