  1. My current group of chars for travel tend to be in popularity are Teleport, Flight, and Superjump.  Mystic flight is in there somewhere.   I have a few chars that don't have any of the pools, a couple that use infiltration.  The couple percentage that I would get from tightening them up are usually made up for on teams, and for solo stuff, I can set my own pace.

FWIW, I believe that Blueside, it is impossible to be given all of the Atlas Park arcs without using Ouroboros. IIRC it is the later (on Live) arcs (Sondra Costel?, Officer Fields?) that you get either one or the other.

There is a pair of red side contacts that work the same.  Fire Wire & Dr Weber

They're low level in the 1-7 range which matches the blue side ones you mention.

On the OP:  Not all contacts can have their bars fully filled.

    Wait . . . there's a tailor in Ouro?

Well, I guess we can't have people fixing the timeline dressed like THAT.

    --But sir . . . they aren't trained yet!

Yes, but now they at least look the part.

Reminds me of a boss that wanted me to hire the idiot that was dressed the best in the group of interviews.  (On the other hand, he was smart enough not to accept the offer.)

Checked on this; You went through a randomizer door from Red Cave, that point you posted is a randomizer arrival point.

Do note, that not all randomizer doors are super obvious that they're randomizer doors, some are more tricky/are fake door points. 👻

Definitely was non-obvious on the red cave side, but that was the main reason for the question.   Cool.

Remember hearing that Rookie and Silent Sentinel had been swapped between the zones but can't locate Silent Sentinel and VidiotMaps does not seem to reflect the change, I'm pretty sure I'm running the newest version and checked and it shows up to date through City Mod Installer.

VidiotMaps has been updated. You're probably still pulling up the old map.

Even when you know the "lingo" there can be grand miscommunication.  I joined a Rescuer Badge and Finder Defeat badge run yesterday.  The Rescuer arc is rescuing Penelope Yin's dad.  Takes 10 min.  The Finder badge is defeating a 100 Lost bosses.  add 5 for kill alls?  The PUG ad never mentioned +4.  40 minutes later....

Oh yea, if you find yourself on a PUG with Snarky, there's probably something going to go wrong.  He's a magnet for it.

Are these only dropped randomly through time capsules?
Or can these be encountered thru random encounters?

Only via time capsules though the chances of them being the ambush is higher than the other mobs.

  8. Running around today in the Labyrinth on Breakout.

Most times I remember if you step thru a door, there's a door you come out of and you can then step back thru.

I just came from a red cave, nothing noteworthy about the door, but I am now in a green tech, with no door

     [-3143.4 -673.5 -1104.1]

If I go turn around and go down the hall, there are two? of the randomizer doors.  I took the one on the left which is definitely a random door.  (Fell thru star field, which dropped me into second screen shot area without door which is more expected)

  9. Access to Travel

    • Passport (and Long Range Teleporter) is now unlocked by acquiring any 10 exploration badges, instead of one exploration accolade. This doesn't affect characters who already own Long Range Teleporter, and the Pocket D unlock method is still present.
      • Note: For technical reasons, this only counts exploration badges collected after the patch

Serious question: why is my experience on the internet so wildly different from the norm?

You're a guy (or at least come across that way) which cuts down a bit on stalking.   I have a few friends that have had issues, I worked in security for a bit,  and when I was a mod elsewhere I came down pretty hard on someone who had been a creep to a younger female player, so it's out there.

That is precisely why it's not a realistic expectation. People are going to hop into beta testing at level 50 with Incarnate abilities. They are not going to be testing the levelling experience, which means there will be a lot of issues that get missed until it goes live.

And you're wrong.   Are things missed? Yes, because that's just the nature of software QA, and it's not like we even have testing plans at our level, but there are thousands of interacting parts that may or may not be evident.    (See Rikti portals in the war zone arc as an unintended side effect that got missed originally)

It's not unrealistic at all - it's worked this way for five years now. If players care enough about something, they'll do it. If a player gets on to the beta server, they can instantly level any character to 50, get all Incarnates, badges, accolades, and IOs, anything they need for testing is free and easy accessible.

And you can even generate a menu that will get you all the enhancements for a build from Mids.

It's a good platform for testing builds and doing ad hoc tests of upcoming changes.   Though the testing in Alpha is usually more malleable and tends to be a longer process.   The change you're against was in there for quite a few months there and did get feedback, some of which was used.    Not sure how many MMs got tested on it though.

Want to keep more changes that you'll dislike from going live? Give feedback in the feedback threads when a new patch is on the test server.

And, the feedback seems to go better if you have a reasoned response more than "THIS SUCKS"

They definitely do listen to us, but remember, they're people.

Huh. I thought the Freakshow resurrects got nerfed because people were using them for farms.

Nah, it is why they don't give as much XP though.

There is that one Unai mission that gives double credit towards the badge for Tanks, but that's a different beast anyway.
