  1. Teleport Target is what the powers Recall Friend and Teleport Foe were combined into.

You can teleport an enemy from up to ~100' (iirc) to a location near you, or teleport a friend from around a mile to near you.

When used on an enemy, they might resist, but you'll probably agro them.  (Possibly more than just them, it's a great pulling tool I find)

Friends may or may not have teleport prompt turned on.   Some hostages and helpers can be teleported too

It still has electricity and I'm guessing that the plumbing still works. Civilians still walk the streets. It's a functional neighborhood and not at all destroyed.

Where are you seeing Civilians in Dark Astoria?  I found a few non-targetable ones being threatened by banished pantheon, but no one is walking around

Seems like this is a process that should be able to be automated: using the old DB to create a new one.  But I'm not a programmer, I just took a few low-end classes in college.  Times like this make me wish I'd stuck with it.

I trust the GMs when they say how wonky it is.

You'll have to put together a new DB, transfer all the data and update all the programming to work with it.

  4. Ran a duo, so did 50 capsules to get both of them the main badge.   Over representation of CoT and it took 20 more capsules to get the Rikti badge.  (All done in ~35 minutes)

Then I spent some time trying to verify if embalmed counted toward that badge, but the Vahz didn't want to make another showing.

And running a MM was pretty relaxing since the ambushes and anything nearby got handled.

The Anniversary Tokens can be used to purchase Anniversary Event inspirations, they can be traded on the Auction House for inf, and they will likely be used again for the event next year. If you consider them useless, I'm happy to take them off your hands.

I'm hoping that we'll be able to keep using the tokens to buy the temp powers thru the year.   (Just for the Retro vision toggle)

How many Anniversary Tokens would you suggest it cost for an Anniversary Badge?

I thought about that myself, maybe 25 tokens.    Would probably bump the sale price of the tokens, but it's a short time thing anyway.   (And yes, way cheaper than using reward merits, but would be a time investment)

Or I'll just stick with the launcher that works until all the bugs are ironed out of the new one. ( modus operandi )

I haven't seen any prevalent bugs with the HC Launcher, where Tequila keeps spawning these threads.    Only compelling one I saw was one that the new launcher didn't work with, but I wonder how old that system was.   I was running the HC Launcher on a 2012 laptop running windows 7 that I wound up switching to linux.  At which point, I had to do odd stuff with the nvidia driver, but nothing directly pertaining to HC.

I wonder if these are the first badges to be permanently missable? Or at the very least we won't get another chance to get them until another major anniversary. Doubting Homecoming would forever gate off any badge though.

Such as all the other anniversary badges, Halloween, winter event, etc... badges?

  9. I have tried both, I'm a fan of the Sentinel regen.    WP is a bit better at mitigating damage, but you recover quickly with regen, so it may depend on your play style.  Might also depend on your primary.

Sigh. Took 118 capsules to get all the badges. Worse than the Winter event.

I wish there was a way to increase the spawn rate of CoT and Rikti.

They did increase the spawn rate of those.   And Winter Event took 200 to get the Toy Collector badge.

I got the three badges after 52 capsules, though if I want all the powers, I'll need to open up at most 24 more capsules.   (Well, looks like 18, since no use buying the temp powers that only last two weeks.   Mini Pets look perma though.)

Now to debate if my Noir character is going to collect enough Tokens to keep buying Retro vision.

What triggered the message?  Did just entering Raimi Arcade (presumably for the character's first time) trigger this, and if so, why does it say "fallen into"?  I don't remember Raimi Arcade specifically.  Is there a broken open area there?

If you do the mission from Captain Nolan or Threatening Arachnos Message, that's what happens.   You get those mission contacts when you open up your Alpha, and that leads you to Heather's arc

  12. For what it's worth, I don't see the badges available on my character that already has them all.  And the Hide recipes doesn't seem to show them either if unclicked.

My chars that don't have the badges see them available.

And Snarky saw that already and noted.  Apparently my brain's cache hadn't seen that ...

I do have to admit I haven't run this one a lot.  I normally PUG based on what's on offer, but I don't see this one come up too often.  I think I've done twice as many Kattie H's as I have this one, easily, and bet those were only when the merits are boosted for the weekly rotation.  Do players hate this one?

It used to annoy me a lot and iirc, the final fight had a couple bugs maybe?   Or just herding people on that one was tougher.

I think the fuel lines were supposed to be for some other feature that never got turned on, so if you clicked them all, it would disable it.   I may just be remembering someone saying this, so this may just be a repeat of someone else's theory.

  14. You do realize they allowed limits on range for local, etc...  to keep message spam down fairly recently?

    https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Issue_27_Page_4

    Local Chat Range
    • Commands have been added that allow you to dynamically set the range that you hear Local messages and how far your own messages carry. Units are in feet. Typically a zone's maximum local chat distance is 100', Pocket D's maximum local chat is 50'.
      • '/speak_range' - Set the maximum range that your local chat and emotes may carry.
      • '/listen_range' - Set the maximum range of local chat and emotes that you want to listen to.
    • You cannot set these to values above the maximums of the zone you are in.
    • Setting the value to 0 using the command will restore the default range.
    • Entering no number in the command will show you what your current ranges are set to.

  15. Reminds me to finish speccing out my Storm/Dark Sent.    Just looks like a floating cloud and things tend to melt around them, but I still need to install some sets.  I should also redo my Dark/Dark one on Excel.
