Dear City Heroes: We should be onto Sara Moore in the Cascades, easily found inside the SECRET REBEL BASE. ...you need to find the base first. Run Dr. Boyd missions from Firebase Zulu to unlock. Otherwise head to the Cascade zone and beg for teamage. Week Beginning Oct 21, 2019: • The Legend of Ruladak (Sara Moore, Level 40-50) Remember to bring plenty of Team Teleport and Flight powers! Not as much running back and forth between zones but it's there. Also, THIS HAS THE DARKEST FINAL MAP OF ALL TIME. OOOOOOOOOEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO so be safe, run in groups. 🙂

I will be on Friday night on Exclesior server around 6PM EDT to run the Dr. Q task force on my 50 tanker. I have team teleport and Ouro shortcut. Join me tonight!

The key thing is to follow the Weekly Task Force schedule: Week Beginning Oct 14, 2019: • Explorer's and Exploiters (Dr. Quaterfield, Level 40-44) Week Beginning Oct 21, 2019: • The Legend of Ruladak (Sara Moore, Level 40-50) Week Beginning Oct 28, 2019: • The Saga of Faathim (Justin Augustine, Level 44-50) Week Beginning Nov 04, 2019: • The Saga of Lanaru (Faathim the Kind, Level 44-50) Remember these key things: 1) Have a flight or teleport travel power, you can buy jetpacks in the Firebase Zulu or Atlas Park/Pocket D vendor. 2) Have Ouroborous Portal power to help with jumps back to Paragon City 3) Have a Team Teleport powerset purchased from that Atlas Park/Pocket D vendor so that you can teleport whole teams across maps (make sure teammates have it too) 4) Be Levels 40-50 5) You no longer have to have a full team of 8 players but it helps given the mob sizes and need for diverse Archetypes on your rosters

I'm usually best for running Shardtobers on the weekends - Saturday / Sunday - but the thing is EVERYONE should run a Shardtober on their own schedules. It's an open server, there's hundreds of us to team with across the servers. It's just I'll be on Excelsior with my 40 or 50 alts.

I am primarily on Excelsior but if others want to run Shardtobers on all the servers, please do. These TFs are open to all who want - or need - to run them.

Dr. Q is a Shard task force. It is part of the cycle. Also, the game now provides a ton of different ways - Ouro ports, Team Teleports, temp jetpacks - to make Dr. Q TFs run faster than ever before. It used to take 8 hours of dedicated game play to finish Dr. Q. Last time I ran it, with ALL those shortcuts available, we got it done in 3 hours. It's good now. Learn it. Live it. Love it. DIE FOR WITTY! Wait, sorry, that shouldn't have been said, lemme refresh...

The game devs scheduled the Weekly Task Force events to include each Shard TF. THANK YOU!

It started a long time ago, by another group of heroes in fact... I cannot remember their names... but the heroine who led it was an invincible Ice Tanker that could herd entire zones... I picked up the slack, organizing Shard Task Forces every October weekend - Saturdays/Sundays - because back then you had to PLAN for those damn things. Especially Dr. Q. That one AT BEST could take you 8 hours to finish. When the game sped up the time you would get the phone contact, that made life a little easier. The creation of the Ouroborous portal shortcuts back to Paragon City helped a lot to speed up the long travel times. Today, there are Team Teleports available as purchase items that can help entire teams jump from door to door, as long as everyone on team had it... So the Shardtober Event goes through each of the four Task Forces - Dr. Quaterfield, Sara Moore, Justin Augustine, Faathim the Kind - and it usually helps to plan ahead so if you want to run them, make sure: 1) You are minimum Level 40 for the first two TFs, then Level 44 minimum for the last two TFs 2) Purchase or have a temp Jet Pack - or else have the Flight powerset for travel needs 3) Purchase the Team Teleport temp power 4) Unlock the Ouroborous shortcut 5) Trick or Treaters for Firebase Zulu because when ToT opens the doors on the military bases count If you have questions, please ask!
