  1. I have been slowly leveling a thugs/thermal MM and am getting up into my high 30's now so time to start setting goals.  I want to know if perma-Gang war is possible with thermal.  I also wanna get the pets as survivable as they can be and I do tend to play in teams and I do want to heal.  those ideas are  in order of importance.  I can't use mids effectively as an experimental platform because of the size of things in there and visual impairment.  I rarely know the sets well enough to remember them all and how they interact, the few builds I have come up with are never optimal.  I am looking for optimization here.

  2. Ok so I made a water/cold corr redside and since no teams there I assume I will be soloing all the way up, I plan on using the /cold def powers to slot my globals from LoTG and keep em at 1 slot each.  Plan on skipping the heal since it serves no purpose on a soloist and have been doing +0/2 and am lvl 10 now.  Since I don't need defensives from poos except combat jumping (Which I will  be grabbing at 12) which is more there for the imob resist and will be 4-sloted to put some resist status and resist and scaling resist in should I take aid self?  I am thinking of grabbing some +res pool power like unleash potential or rune of protection and try to make it close to if not permanent

Transfusion does -regen, not -recovery. It might not miss often but you need to be next to your target to actually get the benefit of the heal which is impractical most of the time and generally not where you want to be as a squishy.

    Poison/Dark is a good combination.

the one that hits +end in an area around the target.  That kills recovery.  It also end drains a bit.

You're gonna have a rough go of that while solo. It doesn't have the sustainability of Therm or Elec since the heal is PBAoE and requires a hit check, and doesn't have sustained -recovery to keep someone's end drained.

no but IIRC transfusion does as well as short circuit.  From what I have seen so far although its only 3 fights I havn't seen many misses even when stacked with +DEF

  5. This is my go at making a farm build for this set combo.  It caps just under 45 for fire/cold defense and is wel past the 75% resist cap.  I always have toons get their own money so this will be used to fund a better build for general killage.  Any improvement suggestions would be appreciated.

  6. Starting one of these to replace the sonic/sonic I was running.  Ki Control is built around the concept of a martial artist mixing it up with blasts and melee.  Think Street Fighter or Dragon Ball (Not DBZ when power got stupid)  Was lookin to see the strengths and weaknesses.  Can I soft cap positionals S/L?  Hasten or force feedback for rechanrge?  What are some challenges I will have over other sets?

  7. Ok it should be noted that all these builds include powers that are no-longer in the stalker version of the ice/ice on homecoming.  They are outdated builds and should be used with caution

  8. Ok so I started a dark/dark brute following a guide

but withthe changes recently I was thinking of swapping things around to use it in group play better.  I would like to but taunt in there and switch over to teleportation to make use of fold space to create density and pack em in there tight for all my blaster corrupter and scrapper friends (other ATs as well)  Looking to tank Itrials with this eventually, how viable is this goal?

  9. This is  a place to discuss the Secondary sonic manipulation and it's strengths and weaknesses.  lets go ahead and make this a good resource for veteran blasters and new blasters alike (I fall intot hat second category)  I primarily like doing TFs so levels a bit slow on my son/son so my experience is limited.  So far I have been taking the AE and cone powers.  I also took obviously the one I was forced to.  The knockback is interesting to me in that it less knocks and more repels enemies.  I love sound barrier so far flavor-wise.  I like the regen absorb on sentinels (I primarily play sentinels but the /son brought me over to experiment)  the PBAE from the secondary feels a bit underwhelming but this may be common to blap PBAEs.  Unfortunately the toon is leveling slow but I will get there.  What are you pairing it with, what have you noticed about the strengths and weaknesses of those pairings and the individual powers and how are you enjoying the set overall?

  10. Wasn't somuch lookin for builds as much as I was discussion about the powers themselves and the combination.  It's an entirely new secondary so I assumed some discussion of what works, what it works with and such.

  11. I came here expecting to see a host of sonic/sonic builds or Something/Sonic builds to get some idea of how it's performing but I see nothing.  I personally am dissapointed in hte /sonic PBAE doing less damage as a high damage attack than my minor damage sonic ranged attacks and cone attacks.

  12. So I went redside with it and figured I could boost lvls by running the S/L comic con map and get myself to about lvl 20 quickly but whenI went in I couldn't kill fast enough to keep insp's going.  I started this at lvl 6 and am giving up on this for the moment.  Is this just because of being a tanker or would I have the same issue on brutes as well?  I figured having the 50 s/l resist at level 6 would be close to the 55% fire resist I had with the /fire brute at the same point.  Just not sure re-rolling it as a brute would change enough, this will be a solo character.

  13. So this is what I am aiming for with my El/El/Mu stalker but I am a little short on s/l def to where I want it.  I am lvl 30 with the stalker right now but am enjoying it so far.  The current build looks a lot different as some of the things I use right now are there until I can put the attack chains together.
