So, my Defender is level 50 and working on Incarnate stuff. I could use a little help with the IO sets for this one. I have so far made this character very much a support type. Maneuvers, Tactics, Assault, plus all the buffs in the set. I'd like to continue to be a buffer, healer and support with some offensive punch when needed. An expensive build is fine - I have funds. Here is the current power sets and my thoughts on them. Thermal Rad - I pretty much like everything in this set. If there's something unnecessary, let me know. Warmth Thermal Shield Cauterize Plasma Shield Power of the Phoenix Thaw Forge Heat Exhaustion Melt Armor Fire with how snipe is going to change I would probably add that instead of RoF. Flares Fire Blast Fire Ball Rain of Fire - I can live without this Blaze Dark Mastery I am not at all married to this set. Dark, Psychic, Mu or Soul seem like good choices. Maybe Pyre. Kinda leaning towards Psychic now. Dark Consumption - kinda meh on this Dark Embrace - yes to a def toggle Soul Drain - I like it, I just don't get to use it much. Flight, Hover and Afterburner Maneuvers, Tactics and Assault Alpha - Musculature - I enjoy the extra Damage Judgement - Pyronic Interface - Diamagnetic Lore - undecided, not unlocked Destiny - like my other toons I will probably make all of them Hybrid - Support Thank you!

So, I have a bunch of Astral Merits, but few Empyrean. Maybe I misread in chat, but can Astral's be converted to Empyrean? And if possible where can I do that? 2nd what can I transfer between characters? Not shard or threads.

I really enjoy hit someone with Energy Torrent, sending them flying, then hitting them with an insta-snipe while they're still in the air. Makes me laugh every time.

On live, my only 50 hero was an Eng/Eng blaster. I remade him and still love it! He's level 50 again and working on my Tier 4 Incarnates. My only villain 50 was a Fire/Cold Corrupter. I did not remake him. I liked the concept, but the execution could have been better and kinda just lost interest in it. I love my Eng/Rad Corrupter and my Titan/Bio Brute.

I only ask because our SG has hit the cap. I guess we all need to routinely kick and re-invite our alts.

I thought the SG size limit had been removed. Is there a reason that SG's have a cap now if there are no raids?
