  2. Oh, I've got no problem with them fixing a bug. My issue is taking out the mechanic wholesale--like I said, they call it abusing the system, I call it, well... just 'using' the system? I mean, it's what it was there for, isn't it?
  3. It doesn't make much sense to me, though. It wouldn't much help in not outleveling contacts you'd be normally doing, and if you didn't want to earn XP regardless... you can turn XP off in general. As for the second one, howso? I mean, you said so yourself, it's meant to aid in influence farming--the devs who put it in certainly knew the AE was a thing when they did. It just seems more like just 'using' the system rather than 'abusing' the system.

  5. That's a separate setting, though? Double Inf for No XP while exemplaring was it's own thing, and it wouldn't even help in not outleveling contacts, as it doesn't do anything when you're not exemplaring, whch you wouldn't be when doing normal arcs
  6. I have to ask, *how* is it an abuse of the system, really? It's using it as it was designed to be used--exemplaring and getting double inf for no XP, no more, no less. In fact, it's even costlier to use it now than it was on live if you're under Vet Level 100
  7. Don't think that's gonna happen. This seems to be more about standardizing all the numbers first and foremost--they'll probably tweak it from there if it still needs one.
  8. If this were a melee support set, I'd say it'd be vital to have the powers start with you and jump off from there. I still think a combined approach (if you don't have a valid target selected, the chain starts with you) is a better way to go about the circuits than having to require the pet to use them.

  10. At this point I think they're just keeping this thread around for fun. I think we'll even keep it after the powerset goes live, and they're having threads up for Page 6
  11. Personally, I wish Static had a little more of an impact on the other powers. Like maybe making Shock jump a couple of times at higher static, increase the aoe of faraday cage, etc. Nothing too major, just small oddball effects that, when taken together, add up a little. All that said, I really like how it's basically 'Support Fury' now.

  13. Yeah, I feel like the best way to go about it is to have it start with yourself and jump from there if there's not an adequate target selected, otherwise have it as it works now.
  14. It doesn't really last long enough to cover multiple groups like that consistently, I don't think? What is it, 20-25 seconds?
  15. Though, that makes me think--is it possible to have a cap on players, but not on pets for chains?
  16. I don't like the limit on chaining--it punishes teams that have pets and such. The current limit of 12 at full static is... an adequate middle ground between the craziness of uncapped and the harshness of a low cap

  19. My point is that the name doesn't really matter--I mean who really cares as long as we know what it is--I figure it was more they just changed it to try to get rid of the drama it was causing, very unproductive. Bullied? Hardly. This team has been very professional.
  20. Like I said before, spite seems to be a really poor reason not to change something that makes someone particularly uncomfortable and doesn't really matter in the end.

  22. Because that's going to be the Natural Origin Utility Belt Freerunning travel power--basically a slottable ninja run.
  23. Yeah, personally, I think they should double the duration/cooldowns on each of the chain powers. Thinking as an MM, it'd be a little hectic to try to herd those while trying to cast several buffs every few seconds.
