Took me 77 solo and it was enough to also buy everything I could that I didn't get directly from glowies, as well. Man, I fell right back into my present clicking routine from back in the day. I had the best little route that perfectly timed the respawn and it seems to be the same spawn points now.

FWIW, if you use the base portal there are completely safe badges to pick up from the base exit in Boom (to the right a bit in some scaffolding), Night Ward (in the mansion, which also gets you Midnighter access), Crey's (roof directly across the road though you probably need a jetpack), Founder's Falls (the one over near-ish Numina), Perigrine Island (portal corp) and Dark Astoria (on top of the hospital, probably need the jetpack). Also safe badge in Rikti War Zone and Kallisti Wharf (probably need a jetpack) no matter how you get there.

Well, I really fought the pull to come back but... it's CoH. I have to at least look around, even if I have stayed away from MMORPGs ever since. I played on Triumph and Guardian. My group was pretty insular most times, but we were known for Hamidon raiding in the heyday and were way into badging during events. I don't even know which of my toons would spark memories, I switched alts out like nothing to suit whatever situation. Most had regular "people names" because they were all based on my original characters. My original two on Triumph were Lincoln Keiran (ma/sr scrapper) and Amanda Moray (grav/rad controller) but by sunset I had more than 50 fully kitted 50s. ...Glad I never threw away my notebook with all my build and badge tracking >: )
