  1. I'm a fan of the overall concept. 💙 But I think it may be too complex in practice, as when you look at most of the inherents, they're pretty straight forward and can be explained in a sentence or two. I'd imagine that right out of the gate, the overflow would need to go as constantly updating team buffs like that are not really a thing CoH does right now, and I don't see the Devs adding that functionality from scratch. As far as what the actual benefits of the Shift would be, I'll leave that to more numerically inclined Kheldians like Laucianna, Koopak, Doom, etc to figure out, lol. I trust that they'd come up with something useable. Also it would be important to remember that any change to the inherent would not happen in a vacuum, it'd accompany the full Kheldian Revamp which may change power numbers, animation times, Damage Caps, and probably even the way shapeshifting itself works. There'd be a lot of moving pieces to juggle all at once. But I *do* hope that the Inherent is something that gets looked at, and remade to focus more on shapeshifting in some way, as the current one is essentially nonexistent in that it literally doesn't exist when solo 😑, and does nothing to encourage any type of thematic gameplay when on teams. And as far as concerns about how it would affect human-only Kheldians, I have none. Human-only Kheldians are basically the same as Petless Masterminds, sure, they can do it, but players should understand that when they ignore an AT's focus, they're not necessarily gonna get all the toys, that's literally what they're signing up for after all.
  2. The Devs, GM's and Community have created something really special here. Even in the short time I've been playing, I've made some incredible friends. I'm thrilled to be able to contribute to this, thank you!
  3. What I was looking for specifically was just if there were still blank price histories occurring since that's what it sounded like the OP was observing, as well as a few others. I'm no longer getting blank price histories just looking through items at random. I can take some screenshots of them not being blank, but that won't prove much. 😄 BUT having said that, I just checked the post-bid history of the item you screenshotted, and that DID turn up blank. And putting in the bid actually caused the original history that I was seeing to disappear. Even though it's listing was not blank for me *before* placing the bid. Other items I've been bidding on did not have that problem. (I'll also include a screenshot of it's current actual bids, just for reference)
  4. I'm not saying you guys aren't experiencing this... if you are, you are. - and it should definitely be addressed! But that's REALLY weird to me, because after the update, past bids now appear for me 100% of the time, without any problems at all. I just double checked and everything I clicked on across every category had the history pop up instantly. Whatever is causing this for you guys, it's definitely not a universal issue.
  5. I'd love to see something like this! For starters, it might help me remember to log off in the correct zone for the Badges I'm trying to get, lol. but yeah, definitely an upvote from me.
  6. Something else that might greatly improve the New Player experience is fixing how the power selection tabs work. Currently, the two Power tabs are only clickable in the very upper-left most corner. The rest of the tab is unclickable. I think it'd make sense if the entire tab were clickable, that's certainly what I personally would expect. (There's a few other buttons that work this way too, but these two are the most extreme.) Just in case it's a screen resolution issue with the boxes not properly scaling to account for screen resolution - My screen resolution is 3840x2160
  7. I'm liking the updated Peacebringer numbers. For me personally, these feel pretty accurate to my experience in the game.
  8. I've never seen one in a Fire Farm, so I doubt it.
  9. I was thinking something similar. I'd like to see the playstyle choices at character creation reflect the assigned roles in the diversity bonus. Mainly so that there are no surprises for new players, and everything stays consistent.
  10. I clearly remember there being multiple instances of Atlas park on busy nights shortly after launch on Live. 2 instances were pretty common, and I feel like I remember a few times it even went as high as 4. (but they may have had smaller thresholds early on, or I'm misremembering) So Homecoming, as it is now, seems pretty inline with what I remember from my time playing early CoH in terms of population. I definitely remember Rubberbanding was a HUGE problem, comparable with Asheron's Call's rubberbanding. So all of these problems feel like nostalgia to me, lol.
  11. ...that's kinda the point of this whole 14 page discussion. 😅 There's a fear that people will start being excluded from teams because of their AT's not being the correct role. (Besides, I wasn't complaining or anything, I was just explaining to Paradox why the devs did what they did regarding Kheldians)
  12. Well, to be fair, the underplayed thing was just my added commentary, not the reason they did it - Kheldians were made more attractive for this bonus because- A. We need to be on a team for our Inherent to work. (This was the reason the Dev gave earlier in the thread) B. We were specifically designed to fill multiple team roles as needed using one build, ie, their intended design is versatility As far as the VEATs... I dunno... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But if you wanna talk improvements to Kheldians! I'm right there with ya! 😄 But that's a topic for the next patch I think, lol.
  13. If this diversity bonus is going to make it to live, I still like this solution the most. 5 different AT's in the group? You get the Bonus. And then the remaining 3 slots can be duplicates. Like you said, this will likely do a much better job teaching new players about the diversity of AT's and their versatility. (Plus, this *still* benefits me as a Kheldian since it's one of the least played AT's, Bwahahahahaha!)
  14. The issue isn't the name, it never was. The two issues that people are concerned with are - 1. These "Groups" don't line up with the Playstyles shown at Character Creation. For example, If we tell New Players that Brutes are Melee Damage, but then don't count them as being Melee Damage when it comes to teaming up in the game, that's misleading, and a bad new player experience. And that goes for all the AT's that are listed under multiple playstyles at Character Creation. At the very least, the Playstyles at character creation and Roles in this bonus need to line up. 2. There are concerns that this will teach new players that you *have* to have specific roles at all levels of gameplay. This is a significant enough award for new players/characters, that it *will* be used by them, even if it's not how the game works. ...and if you make the award so insignificant that it doesn't matter and nobody cares, you've created a system that doesn't need to exist. It's basically a lose/lose. (Personally, I'm more concerned with the first issue, and less so the second) (Plus as I've said before, I mostly play Kheldians, so the planned implementation benefits me greatly)
