I've mentioned this several times before in relation to the TA ability called "Glue Patch." When using glue patch, the enemies will jump through solid objects to reach you -- including the walls and the ceiling. Now, just blocking the door with PA will cause enemies to jump into other rooms THROUGH the ceiling! This happens on multiple maps and is VERY easy to reproduce... especially if you have an Illusion/TA build. Just block the door with pets and the enemies will jump through the mesh in order to reach you. No collision, nothing. Best done in areas with small doors. So I'm taking on a band of Nemesis troops and, of course, they start to use vengeance. Lo and behold, I now have less than a thirty percent chance to hit MY oil slick! That's insane... it's not an enemy. I think I heard somewhere recently that Twilight Grasp can now trigger from oil slick. I guess the game is reading it as an enemy now. It was hard enough to hit it with a taser, if it's going to be shielded via enemy buffs, I might have to roll a tank (Heaven forbid)

I'd love to see at least Praetorian heroes have Clockwork robotic pets. Fits the theme, they are already in existence, and each tiered pet is already made.

Solo Act (TF setting/Badge idea)
TimesSeven replied to EmperorSteele's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'll say this and then I'll stop beating this dead horse.... not every AT can PVP. Sure you could try it, but you'll lose horribly to stalkers, brutes, tanks...etc. Again, by setting PvP badges, you are rewarding AT's that can do it successfully. That is literally NO DIFFERENT than a solo badge. With all of the Lore pets, purchasable pets, START abilities... etc, most people can solo AV's at -1/x1. It's a question of it they want to. Compromise point: Dr. Quarterfield should at LEAST have a solo badge option. AT LEAST. Any TF/SF that doesn't have an AV or independently scalable NPCs, can be won by most AT's. Hell, I can solo Times Arrow/Imperious -- and that's not impressive to anyone reading this. Again, I'm done arguing the point, because this is starting to sound like "woke" participation trophy nonsense... "If everyone running the race can't have a trophy, then trophies shouldn't exist." I would like this as an options for the reasons stated above... the game favors teamwork above soloing and that is clearly evident. If you don't agree with me, well... that's on you. PS: I'm not even the one who started this topic, yet I'm the one getting the heat. SMH -

We literally have badges for people who can ski down a ski slope in under a minute. THAT's the most worthless badge in the game, but I'm not seeing any protests against having it. It's just a badge, I really don't see why everyone is so up in arms about it. If you don't have a toon that can get the badge, then you don't get the badge. I HATE PUG groups, so I accept the fact that I can't get some of the badges in the game. I HATE pvp, so I accept the fact that I can't get those badges. I don't see anyone here protesting PVP or arena badges. -

Solo Act (TF setting/Badge idea)

Well, again I can see your point of view, it's just a shame you can't see mine. At least there should be SOME reward for soloing missions other than "great, you just did Time's Arrow in four hours and it takes a team thirty minutes to do the same thing." Increase merits, increased XP.... something other than --- NOTHING. -

I guess for some that would be the case, but every badge is a pat on the back if it doesn't do something for you. If it doesn't lead to an accolade then it literally is a pat on the back. Besides, isn't a "All archetype" badge also a pat on the back? Isn't an "all diverse team" also a pat on the back? -

I can get behind that. But I also understand that not EVERY person needs to have a badge. Just because it's available doesn't mean everyone should get it. I don't team... I hate it. Why should I miss out on the badge? Because I CAN team but choose not to? Good point. Everyone here could create a toon that could solo some "not all" of the TF's. If you don't do it because you don't like to solo, then how is that fair? Again, I see you point... every TF that doesn't have an AV or could easily be soloable at +1x1 should have the option of having a badge for it. Not down for it? No problem. This is something we all can agree on... if you solo the TF, at least give bonus XP or bonus merits. Now that's fair. -

I absolutely agree with this... the game celebrates it when there's an all archetype TF or a totally diverse TF, but doesn't even bother to recognize that some people can solo missions. It's insane to think that a team of MM's can just wade into a TF and kill everything onsite and they all get badges, but if ONE PERSON takes a few hours to clear a TF, they get... nothing? What sense does that make? I'm all for this idea! -
Getting killed by the Apocalypse Beam inside the forcefield
TimesSeven replied to TimesSeven's topic in Bug Reports
Okay, I figured this out and DEVS, I DESERVE A BUG BADGE FOR THIS. My build is TA and if I use the EMP arrow, the field it creates negates the protection from Penelope Yin. I was being chased by the Rularru and time was running out for the beam, so I dove back under the protection of PY's forcefield and used the EMP arrow to create the shield against their attacks. The field was partially out of her protective bubble and partially inside, so when I was outside of my field, I was fine, but when I stepped inside of it, the beam killed me. Not only did I find a bug, I also figured out how to fix it. BADGE PLEASE! 🙂 -
Getting killed by the Apocalypse Beam inside the forcefield

So I'm playing the "Defeat Rula-Wade, once and for all" mission and I run back to Penelope Yin's (air quotes) protective force field and I get killed INSIDE the field. So I pop a wakie and wait. Countdown and killed. Countdown and killed. I managed to make it through the portal before the last beam, thinking that it would reset the issue. NOPE. No matter what I do, I get killed inside of useless Yin's field. Screenshots, a video, and a huge facepalm. -
Ran a Night Ward arc the other day - it was great

The problem I have with a few of the NW and FW missions is that they are just "run to" missions. "Hey, go talk to what's-his-face about this." "I've never heard of that before. Go ask what's-her-face." "Hmm, that sounds familiar. I think what's-a-mcdoogal would know the answer to that -- and even though you have A PHONE and they are CURRENTLY IN YOUR CONTACT LIST, I'm still going to have you run all the way over there to talk to them in person." I call those "Throwaway" missions or "Bored Dev" missions. -
Add Xp/Inf back to Nemesis Mole Machines
TimesSeven replied to Glacier Peak's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
And you have to destroy FOUR of them during Black Scorpion's mission! Freaking four! I'm running solo and I'm spending a ridiculous amount of time with these stinking things. This is just like every other mission that has a ton of heroes/villains who all sit back and do nothing. At LEAST have them help destroy the machines instead of standing on a hill watch me work. Bad move, devs. Poor sportsmanship. -
I don't know if this was reported already... I ran a search and didn't see this specifically. In the Who Will Die saga with Wade squaring off against Statesman, I discovered TWO Darren Wades on the map. Really freaky as I wasn't speed-running through the map at all -- In fact, I was doing a kill-everything, so I was moving fairly slow (I only mention this because of the Twinshot duplicity error in her arc). But here's the really funny part: after he kills Statesman and I speak with him, the OLD Darren Wade begins to attack the NEW Darren Wade! They exchange blows for a while until the older version kills the newer one. He doesn't attack the Ruluruu version though. Freaky.
