Fun times on Torchbearer tonight. We had 2 full teams running with @Warboss leading a reported "very efficient" Synapse TF that was so deadly, Babbage was too scared to show up to meet them. The rest of the tankers joined me in running the 1st of the New Praetorians arc from Provost Marchand. And in a rare occurrence, we did not achieve Rule #2, in that @wittylibrarian did not get defeated, not even once! Next Tanker Tuesday will be April 15th on Everlasting, Imperious and Justin Augustine will be the Weekly Strike Targets. This will also be the start of the Electric Melee Tanker Challenge. Bring a newish (level 5 or under) Electric Melee tank to Kings Row, any primary set is permitted. Current plan is to do an old school Sewer Network run from Kings Row to Atlas, and then up to Boomtown. There should be a few people with the Supergroup Portal power to allow the group(s) to head to a SG base level up at intervals without losing our place in the sewer clean up. Saturday April 19th will be our next Reunion run. 9:30 AM PT / 11:30 AM ET / 6:30 PM CET We will also be back on Torchbearer later this month for the 5th Tuesday on April 29th for an Instanced Mothership Raid. Since April is Ape Awareness month, bring an Ape themed tank if you have one.

untilTanker Tuesday is one of the longest running player-led events in City of Heroes. Come join in with your follow Tankers to enjoy in all Tanker things and run various Task Forces, missions, Giant Monster fights and other special events. Learn about different Tanker tactics and build suggestions while smashing evil doers and protecting the City. Each month with a 5th Tuesday in it we like to do something different for that Tanker Tuesday. This month we will be running an Instanced Mothership Raid on Torchbearer. All Tankers level 10 and up are welcome, but a fair number of Incarnate Level 50 Tankers will be required for us to be successful. Please ensure you have the Member of Vanguard badge prior to the event so that you can get Vanguard Merits during the raid. It is no longer required to enter the Instance though. Remember to get a jet pack or some kind of flight power for the Dropship hunt after the raid. Temporary Hold powers and Envenomed Daggers are an asset as well. Since April is Ape Awareness month, Ape themed Tanks are highly encouraged (if you have them) but are not a requirement. Meet up in Kings Row, on the wall beside the Independence Port gate. The MSR will launch at 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET and we will begin forming up a half hour prior to that.

A run good on Victory today with a DA run, some GM fighting, a Yin TF, and a new Level 50 Tanker. Good fun all around. Next Victory run will be May 3rd. April 8th Tanker Tuesday will be on Torchbearer, meet up at 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. On the wall by the IP gate in Kings Row. @Warboss has already offered to lead a Synapse TF, so arrive early to get a spot on that. Sara Moore is the other WST and we will see how much interest there is for that. See you then Tankers

It was a fun time on Victory today for our monthly Tanker "Tuesday" run. We had one full team with a bunch of lowbies, so after we stopped a Paladin from messing up the streets of Kings Row, we opted to run the Mu'Vorkan Arc in Dark Astoria at +4x8 to get some tanks a bunch of levels. Mission accomplished on that. After defeating the Sentinel of Mot we hit Nova Praetoria fight The Dreaded Mapserver! GM and while we were not able to take him down some fun was had and Fiery Hot Angel (@AmethystAngel) became the most recent Tank to reach level 50 during a TT event. Congratulations AA! A few folks had to drop then so we finished the day with a speedy 6 tank Yin TF. Many levels and rewards were gained today and much fun had. The next Tanker Tuesday run on Victory will be May 3rd. 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET. Meet us in Kings Row by the IP gate.

A big night on Excelsior tonight that started off being disrupted by the Mapserver event. After that we ended up with 5 teams running. Many thanks to @ColTech and @Albedo for running the mission teams tonight. I think they got a Rikti invasion as well in there along the way. @PLVRIZR & @Warboss had dueling ApeMage TFs going tonight as a fair number of folk wanted in on that. And a big thanks to those that joined me on the Dr Q TF tonight. We managed to finish that in 2:35:37 which was not terrible for a bunch of tanks. This Saturday, April 5th is our monthly stop on Victory, 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET. Meet in Kings Row as always. No set plan but probably not DrQ. Next week TT will be on Torch with Synapse and Sara Moore being the WST. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. On the wall in Kings Row. As always, if there is something that you would like to run on any TT, please let me know. Volunteers to lead teams are always appreciated as well. @wittylibrarian our thoughts are with you.

What level is the Tank you are thinking of moving over? Generally the challenge is to level them up as a group during TT as much as possible. If you wanted to run a higher level tank with the rest, though you would be exemplared down to the team leads level, so it wouldn't really break the challenge but would give you a leg up on the rest of your teammates.

A fun and successful night was had on Indomitable tonight. We had three teams running tonight, many thanks to @wittylibrarian for leading the mission team. For the Stone Armor/Weapon challenge tankers, we had two teams that did dueling Synapse TFs. The team lead by @Warboss pulled out to an early lead but got bogged down fighting Babbage which allowed my team to catch up and bring our Babbage over to meet theirs. With all the Stone Tankers together and some assistance from the mission team and some friendly locals managed to send those giant monsters packing before cleaning the Clockwork King's, err clock. Next Tanker Tuesday will be April 1st, so bring a Defender to Kings Row by the Skyway Gate at 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET 😄 All kidding aside, meet in Kings Row on the wall beside the IP Gate. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. Apex/TinMage II and DrQ will be the WST. Volunteers to lead teams are appreciated. And as per Warboss earlier in the thread, April 15th will be the start of the Electric Melee tanker challenge on Everlasting. Any Primary power set can be used, but your Secondary power set must be Electrical Melee. You have three weeks, so start thinking about your new tank soon. See you all next week.

For these upcoming challenge builds, only the secondary is mandatory, choose whichever Primary set you like for these on Everlasting (Electric Melee) and Excelsior (Radiation Melee). April 15th is probably a good time to start, otherwise these wouldn't get going until May 20th and we all probably forget about them. The other thought for the Everlasting challenge would be to start it off with an Old School Sewer Run, no DFB or missions, just beating up lots of gangs in the sewers. We would enter in Kings Row and fight our way through to Atlas, pop out, level up and then head back in and fight up to Steel or Boomtown and possibly finish off by tanking on the Goliath War Walker there. An added benefit of this would be if we have more than 8 tanks doing the challenge, we can just run as a league, keep everyone together on 2 teams and really clean up the sewer. Also since there are no trainers down in the sewers, if we had a few tanks that purchased the SuperGroup Portal power from START to allow tanks to get leveled up and return right to where we were in the sewer. Side note: if anyone who is a member of the TankHQ SGs on Excelsior and Everlasting, could you let me know who is the leader of the SG on each of those servers? (I don't have a tank in TankHQ on either of those servers)

A Rad Melee challenge on Everlasting will work. I guess I had the servers mixed up, so I guess after that would be Electrical Melee on Excel? Next TT on Ever will be April 15th, which will also have ITF as the WST and I know there was talk of an all Shield ITF too. Very conflicted for next month. April will also have 5 Tuesdays, and the next server for a 5th Tuesday special event is Torchbearer. Since that is your home @Warboss, you get to choose what flavour of insanity we run that night 😜

To quote @Agoogala, "[21:00] [Team] Hot Briquette: It was a hot time in the old town tonight!" for the Tanker Tuesday run on Everlasting. We had 3 full teams of tankers, with many thanks to @MsAligned for running the mission team while @PLVRIZR ran our mid-level tanks through a FreakSpec and I took the higher level ones to save the reactor from the Rikti. After the city was saved from multiple meltdowns, we trashed some AVs and then beat up some alternate-dimension nazis. Good fun all around. Next week we are on Indomitable. Positron 1 & 2 will be the WST. We will also be continuing on with the Stone/Weapon challenge and running a Synapse TF with them. If you want to join in that and don't have a Stone/Weapon Tank, you have 7 days make one and to get them to level 15. See you all in game

Great fun on the Reunion Tanker Tuesday run today. We had one full team and managed to run the Cavern of Transcendence Trial along with Positron 1 & 2. Lots of leveling and maybe a few more defeats than we would have liked but a thoroughly enjoyable day. Next Reunion TT will be April 19th 9:30 am PT / 12:30 PM ET / 5:30 pm CET -
A very fun night was had on Torchbearer tonight. We had 4 teams running with many thanks to @Anyad for the special guest appearance and leading of the mission team, and many thanks to @Gattaca for leading the Citadel TF for @Warboss (we know he deserved the break), thanks to @PLVRIZR for leading 5 brave (crazy?) tanks on a Dr Kahn TF, I'm certain seeing him finally go down after a 45 minute fight was well worth it. And thanks to those that joined me in saving Sam Wincott from the Cavern of Transcendence. This Saturday, March 15, will be the Reunion run, 9:30 am PT / 12:30 pm ET / 5:30 PM CET. Meet in Kings Row as always. Kahn and Cavern will still be the WST. Next Tuesday, March 18, will be back on Everlasting and it will be Respec Week. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. See you in the City

Big tanking fun on Excelsior tonight. We started the night dissuading a Kronos Titan that tried to join Tanker Tuesday. We then had three full teams going that ran a Katie Hannon TF (thanks @MsAligned for leading that), @Agoogala ran Team Awesome doing missions in PI for our smaller tanks, and a fairly quick Numina was done with those that joined me. Next week, March 11th we will be on Torchbearer. Dr Kahn TF, Barracuda SF and the Cavern of Transcendence trial will be the WST . 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. Meet in Kings Row in the usual place. Saturday March 15th we will return to Reunion. 9:30 am PT / 12:30 pm ET / 5:30 PM CET.

A good run on for the Tanker Tuesday tour on Victory today. @Warboss ran a Moonfire TF for us and we got @PapaSlade's new SR tank about 22 levels to where they will be leading a TF next month. Next run on Victory will be April 5th - see event calendar The next regular TT will be on March 4th on Excel. Numina, Katie H and Dr Aeon will be the WST. Volunteers to lead mission teams and task forces on the busier servers are always appreciated.

The second Tanker "Tuesday" event on Victory was a good time. 12 tankers in all joined in for some mission mayhem and for a Moonfire TF (Thanks for leading the TF @Warboss) We started off the event by ridding Kings Row of 3 Paladins that were messing up the place. The Tanker "Tuesday" Tour will return to Victory on April 5th at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET. The first Saturday of each month will be the plan for this event going forward. Hope to see you next time.

We had a somewhat successful night on Indomitable what 10 tanks taking part in the Stone Armor ?weapon challenge which split into 2 teams that each took on the Positron TF. Thanks for leading those @PLVRIZR and @Warboss. Plus @wittylibrarian ran a 4 tank Market Crash for our high level, non-challenge tanks, but unfortunately they did not have enough debuff available to take down the giant robot. You'll get them next time, Witty! The next Tanker Tuesday event will be this Saturday, March 1st, on Victory. We will be starting an hour earlier than last time 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET. Meet up in Kings Row as usual. All tanks welcome. Next Tuesday, March 4th, we will be back on Excelsior at the usual time. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. Numina, Katie Hannon, and Dr Aeon will be the WST.

We had a grand night on Everlasting with three teams running. Many thanks to newcomer to TT @MistressMissy for leading the 7 tank Manticore TF. And thanks to @wittylibrarian & @MsAligned for leading the missions team. And thanks to @Warboss for wrangling a Paladin to start the night and for leading a 4 tank Citadel TF to beat up Vandal in about 1:26. Sadly the lens cap was on my camera all night. Next Tuesday, February 25th, Tanker Tuesday will be on Indomitable. The Stone Armor/Weapon challenge will be on round 2 with the Positron part 2 TF or possibly Synapse on deck. For those not doing the challenge, Market Crash and Moonfire TF are the WST and there will be a mission team of course. See you all then.

Two mighty teams of tanks hit Torchbearer tonight for some tanking. Many thanks to FREEZRBRN aka @PLVRIZR for leading a successful task force for Ernesto Hess, and thanks to those that helped me try and halt the Nemesis Wedding which we sadly ran out of time on, but some tanks still managed to get the Mini Nemesis Horse pet. The night was finished off beating up some Council and spiders. This Saturday, February 15th, we are back on Reunion, 9:30 am PT / 12:30 pm ET / 6:30 pm CET. Meet up in Kings Row as always, bring whichever tank you like, no theme on reunion this year. Next Tuesday, February 18th we will be back on Everlasting with Manticore and Sutter as the WST. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET in Kings Row. Don't be alarmed if you are not invited to a team or league right away, we are trying a new system to hopefully streamline the start and sorting process. Only inviting Team Leaders to the league to start and they will invite players that want to join their TF or mission teams as that gets decided Please bear with us as we try out this new way. Update: The time of this ongoing event has been changed and will be starting at 10:00 am PT/1:00 PM ET going forward. It will continue to occur monthly on the 1st Saturday of each month. The event calendar has been updated to reflect this.
