  1. Depends on how you play, i soft cap on certain toons, because i like racing others for the chance to open with a nuke. If you don't do that, yeah it is not needed. I also regularly join a group that does themed +4/8 Enemies buffed/Players debuffed stuff and other wacky shenanigans, so i do have some really really expensive toons.

There are several ways to have softcap def, like making it with 40 def with Barrier on CD makes sure you have atleast softcap 24/7. Have around 150% recharge or so with Ageless on CD and you have perma-hasten (and solve whatever End issues you have, also that precious DDR). If you plan with Incarnate powers in mind, you can get away with tons.

  2. Played non-stop from early access to Heart of Thorns. After that it's on and off, mostly 1 month on, 6 months off. Logging in for free updates whenever they come out.

Can already have double mire for warshades and pulsar is a peace bringer ability

I meant Double Flare, not Mire. Yeah i don't have room for Pulsar on my PB. I think if you want double Flare, have to work for it.

Number one is toggle suppression. I could do without any of the other changes, but this has always seemed a dumb mechanic to me. You design a toon to change forms, but punish them for changing out of form.

Definitely, for both PB and WS.

  4. It is quite realistic, i bound num 3 to retoggle Cj, Weave and Manuevers, 3 taps and it's done. I do spend most of the time in human.  I also bound combat flight with toggle off dwarf/squid. During constant form shifts, double Mire has everything on their butts constantly. Realistically, 45 defense is not needed at all. But it was a luxury i aimed for. For PB, recharge is everything, not 45 def.

  5. This is my build with perma-LF with 45 S/L in human form with toggles, with 34 S/L in Lobster/Squid

  6. This is my current build. I chose to keep the psi hole, but i have everything else. It's Tri-form, has Perma Hasten, good damage aside from Dwarf Form, 45% S/L Def.

  7. In a team setting, slow AS very often ends up being corpse blasting. Or you end up being a non factor because you just fired 2 ST attacks before the whole group of baddies is down. Opening with an AoE or other ST attacks allows you to do more dmg overall.

AS is still very important to your rotation i.e. use on cd and is still the best place for the hidden.proc.

  8. My KM/EA's standard rotation is BB, SB and AS. Sprinkle in as many Moonbeams and BU as possible. Open up with Burst or CS. CS may not be efficient but i do like using it when hidden on AV/EB, allows for nice BU stacking for either MB or AS.

While my build does have some End issues, Energy Drain helps deal with it. But overall, aside from Burst and CS, the attacks are fast and has very fast feeling to it.

  9. Depends, if you a going for pure flavor, do whatever you like, a ninja at peak human physique or a ninja with throwing stars.

But if you want the "best" power pool, go Soul Mastery. It is arguably best for stalkers. Moonbeam hits hard and Shadowmeld is a 1 slot wonder. And it's shadowy and dark, fits a ninja. You always play Moonbeam off as some sort of secret ninja technique.

  10. Tough/Weave/CJ are great for rounding out your def/resist. Even if you don't use Tough, it's a good mule. While Weave and CJ helps with softcapping, CJ is also a great place for LotG global.

As for Body Mastery, i took it for 2 reasons. No need to add slots and when i need Endurance. Just slot the 2 autos with Perf Shifters and call it a day. Otherwise it's Soul Mastery for Moonbeam and Shadowmeld. I only took Laser Eye Beam on my tank because she's a robot, no self respecting robot leaves out laser eyes!!

  11. Leveled 3 incarnated stalker and I play them like scrappers that can control their crits with stacked BU.

Normally i would look for important targets, jump in, AoE  and arrest the important target(s). Spam the heck out of BU with the gaussian proc. When hidden procs, use the biggest ST attack, usually your T9, not AS.

I try to move ahead of the team as well, unless i know it's a bad idea, but that's almost never.
