  1. I agree. It was a weird idea to have the last two powers be damage powers. At least you can pile up trip mines.
  2. If real damage isn't an option, I'd rather have something which does a support oriented purpose so buffing or debuffing.
  3. Yeah, but look at the damage. Longer than a nuke recharge and damage well below a nuke (on an AT with a 1.0 damage scalar).
  4. Yeah, maybe on paper it looks good. In practice it's about as good as time bomb. Recharge is hugely long for a meh amount of damage, and the aggro doesn't really do a good job of pulling things in. Tried it on my crab spider and respecced out of it in short order after a lot of use.
  5. Actually I thought of something which might work to make tripmines a bit better. Make it so you can toss them a short distance to place them instead of having to do it at your feet. I don't mean a lot of range, but 10' or 15'. Mines can currently be air deployed, and then command armed, so I don't see this being a huge stretch. This would require a different animation of course (though there's no shortage of things being tossed animations in the game).
  6. I didn't mention this fact, but yes, it is utterly broken. Everyone would make room for a power which made you immune to debuffs. I'd live on ninja run and sprint even though I love fly for that.
  7. Actually you don't recall correctly. The nerf had nothing to do with pvp, and was only to mass hold powers. Before the nerfs controllers could basically render groups into statues and stack it easily making every encounter pretty laughable (required slotting and good accuracy, but it did work). I'm generally not the biggest fan of nerfs, but this one wasn't all too bad since before it a well slotted controller had almost no risk at all.
  8. So you somehow imagine people will take a power which on net balance doesn't do anything at all? The tier 4 is worth chasing, but I guarantee nobody in their right mind would pick the second one there.
  9. Yes, I have them in passives. I was just curious if they have that exclusionary effect mentioned for the Power Transfer heal (so they don't all proc).
  10. Ok, so it is mentioned that the Power Transfer proc only works once if slotted in two places. Does this also apply for the performance shifter +end proc? I've got it slotted multiple times on a number of alts, and I think it does something, but of course I could be fooling myself.
