There's some limitations with the costume creator in that I couldn't get a proper sort of formal military attire

    Epaulets?

  3. @DJ1 I meant the other DJ (FM) earlier. I should have said. Thanks to Red and Kai and Clawdebt I am excited to see how my prize will turn out too.

About that, last week I asked what if we wanted a different hero from our entry because I didn't really want a picture of Random Shock Value if he had won. I already deleted him but this week I am actually enjoying my entry a lot and I think she's a keeper so CR I would like Cosmica for my prize drawing please. You can pick the style you think fits best and thank you again for doing all of this.

  4. Thank you thank you. Congrats to the other top fivers Kai, Troo, Biostem and especially Tyger. Love that constellation idea! Thanks CR for doing this and for putting so much thought into it. Gimme a little time to go through my roster and choose.

Oh and I saw your stat page too.

I googled it to be sure I was remembering it right and yes that is a thing the SS used to say.

It is the name of the power Galactus wields and he gave a portion to the

Surfer in exchange for his soul and for being his herald.

D10 looks to be one of the Umbers. I'd guess-timate it's Raw Umber as it is too pale to be Burnt Umber.

The swatches and CC color highlights in the OP should hopefully make it clear enough.

Oh it's perfectly clear. You covered it just about every which a way [including alphanumeric!] I just didn't know what the name of the color was. Looked it up and yeah Raw Umber looks to be bang on.

  6. Nope wasn't there before. The forums displayed correctly until after maintenance. I was trying to get into ChristopherRobin's costume challenge before the deadline (thankfully he added a few hours to accommodate) so I noticed it clearly. Working fine before the forums went down, squares after they came back up.

Vivaldi is a Chrome offshoot. It's basically Chromium under the hood.

Thank you I will try clearing my cache and report back!

  7. Whew thanks CR! Thought I was gonna miss out because of the maintenance thing.

Do ya know what I find shocking? What the costume maker comes up with when you the hit "random" button. Here's Random Shock Value!

  8. So just after the server update and the comment box looks like this.

I am on Vivaldi browser and the only other time I've seen this is when there are unrecognizable characters like Mandarin for example. Are you using non-standard symbols perhaps? Might just be on my end and a Vivaldi update will fix it but I thought I should point it out.

Not a fan of moving the edit button either I had to search for it among the "squares" :p

  9. Question for you CR, if we win do we get to choose the hero or villain you draw or is it just going to be the character we enter? The one I would want art of the most doesn't really fit the theme here.

I didn't intend to start a red v. blue debate... decades ago I had a decent card from the company I will no longer buy from, and I was quite disappointed by my last experience. When I am replacing video cards, I rarely go close to the cutting edge... if I had spent more time searching user experiences (and not tech reviews) I could have saved myself a LOT of grief.

Yeah me either. It just looks like I'm in the minority because I have had only positive experiences with AMD cards. To be fair my wife had a Nvidia chip in her notebook and it never gave her any problems either. I've been lucky I guess. Like CR said just do your homework and learn what to avoid and what's good when you're ready to buy.

I wish someone would add the "recommended levels" to the zone names, kind of like what you'd find if you were riding the train. I'll be leveling up a new character, wanting to do, oh let's say newspaper missions, and I'll have to ask myself, "What zone has the proper range of levels? Well... let's try..."

    Just a thought.

    This!
