Hey guys, I love the new stance mechanic. Having beast and ninja idles, as well as a slide run animation is great for the immersion value. However, could we also get a hover idle by any chance?

It was a pleasure participating in this CC. Really glad Reunion is starting to get some activities.

Void Skiff could also use a power customization. I'd love to be able to ride a force disk that's not orange

That's the build I made with a help of my friend. Marathoner feels as quick as possible to what we could do in game. Elec/Martial Blapper with only quick-cast attacks, nuke aside, that has a recovery high enough to be able and have SS + Sprint on at all times.
For combat I keep Speed of Sound + Sprint Quick (my sprint of choice because of the trails it leaves while running and porting) for overall maneuvers and travel. When I need to be "too fast to see" I use Superspeed + Sprint w/ Stealth IO, which would allow me to skip through the enemies straight to the objective. Also using Whirlwind w/ Recharge proc to hit even more frequently when swarmed.
Overall the build is not the strongest or toughest one, but it's still strong and tough enough and also feels like speedster in the most true way possible. You can zip around, clear crowds and look cool while doing it (some people joked about me being a local tornado because of how fast I was dealing with the next crowd of enemies before they were done with the current one)
-
Yeah. I, as a primarily melee player would sure put someone like that on blast first if they were in a team with me, Zanthyna
-
Awesome arc. It's a good alternative for DFB, except with an actual story. Definitely check it out!

Okay, sometimes the character theme comes before the powers, and sometimes the powers make the theme. Most of mine are the latter.
If you want to go with a more "ninja"/"Secret Ops" Natural Type, I'd probably go Mind, though Darkness and Plant would also fit a Ninja style. From there, it is your choice, really.
I have a Batman-esque character, myself, who uses Fire/Martial for his powers. Fire has lots of smoke/gas-like stuff, which works for his pellets/bombs, and also there's a flashfire which works as a flashbang grenade. Still trying to figure out a nice build for him though.
-
Off topic (mostly), but you should totally look into Martial Combat on Blasters. It has a HUGE speedster feeling to it, with a three-time use PBAoE teleport (Burst of Speed) and a PBAoE slow +regen and recovery buff (Reaction Time), which also gives you recharge and run speed upon turning the toggle off
-
Since we're going that path, is it possible to get the ability to change your sg name? I've been making a base for my Batman, but I don't want to lose the progress of the build

Can't be bothered to make a whole tier list, but Street Justice + Ninjitsu is pretty hard to make good (And that's despite the fact that this offensive primary is great on this AT). This ninjitsu doesn't have kb resist, and StJ has nothing to boost the defense. It seems as if Stalker's Ninjitsu has been designed to work the best with defense buffs, like what Ninja Blade, Martial Arts or Staff Fighting offer.
Oh, speaking of Martial Arts. They're pretty bad on Stalker as well. No AoE whatsoever. Nowadays placate is pretty useless, but it still replaces Dragon's Tail, which is the only AoE MA has.
So far I think the strongest combos for Stalker are Broadsword/Energy Aura and Broadsword/Shield Defense

I just don't see the point. We can already be really big and really small. Why do we need to be able to be bigger or smaller? It would never be enough to satisfy everyone, someone would always want to go beyond whatever bounds are set.
Because characters like Ant-Man are a thing. We all want to be as big as DE monsters and as small as Clockwork Gears. 8 feet is just not big enough for a size-shifter or a Hulkbuster or Transformer-like bot and 4 feet isn't small enough for a fairy or a living toy concept. Those sizes are already in the game, and if we want to feel super (which this game mostly allows you to do), why not go to a bigger extent?

Your DataLink doesn't work on the current build of Mids, but I definitely like the concept here. How consistent is the Toxic rotation, and do you have a link for the video that inspired you?
Weird, still works for me...
As for the video, that's the one:

My current bane doesn't have one ninja run+sprint+mental training is very close to ss, I follow ss people around and barely lose ground, arriving within a second or two of them, and I have a higher jump than you do with ss alone.
I don't like the mace beams as they do much lower damage than the ranged wolf attacks, just use those if you want ranged attacks instead.
Yeah, I got Ninja Run and Sprint.
As for the beam attacks I've gone for it because of theme. And the idea of the build is a mass annihilation as well as debuffing resistance. Which is why I got Poisonous Ray for debuffs too and that Beam AoE
-
I also considered going with Mace Beam Blast over Pulverize, since it both looks cool and is one of those attacks originally featured in the video:
Level 16: Mace Beam Blast
- (A) Force Feedback - Damage/Knockback
- (23) Force Feedback - Accuracy/Knockback
- (29) Force Feedback - Recharge/Knockback
- (36) Force Feedback - Recharge/Endurance
- (37) Force Feedback - Damage/Endurance/Knockback
- (37) Force Feedback - Chance for +Recharge
I just HAD to use the knockback set because it has that AoE Defense buff, which helps me softcap all of my positional defense.

Recently I saw a really old video of the guy who tried to make a really unique build and made a toxic damage-focused Bane Spider. It was looking so cool that I was trying to remake it, myself. Could use some build suggestions as I'm fairly new to this all.

Oh, I see. Problem is, I already leveled my SS/SR Brute up to lvl 50 and I'm really unsure which IO sets and Incarnates to use here. I will look at energy melee for another character, it sounds tempting
-
Energy Mastery? I use it for the utility stuff, but tbh I don't want to use energy for one-shotting people. My initial goal is to make my burst from punches as strong as it's possibleEM is what you are looking for. It has 2 heavy hitting attacks and with high fury and build up can 1 shot lt mobs with energy transfer.
-
What would be a good build that involves Super Strength and Super Reflexes but also has a huge emphasis on burst damage (like hitting as hard as possible with a Knockout Blow or Footstomp)?
-
Trying to make a good build that's inspired by heroes like Flash and/or Quicksilver. I need your thoughts on it:
