  1. Thanks for the feedback on the ninjitsu defensive power set. I don't think I will make an immediate alt that has it but it looks like it would be fun to try. I liked my SR defense tanker that I got to 50 and found SR to be a nice armor set for a tank. I just got bored with it and the lower damage and no heal. I would just watch my health wittle down with no heal and no real damage mitigation beyond hoping the 5% minimum chances to hit didn’t hit me too many times in a row. My very first character on live was a MA/SR scrapper back when endurance recovery was way worse than it is today. Had to rest for up to a minute after every battle. It makes me think that MA/ninjutsi might be a fun combination. I’m leveling up an Ice Melee/ Fire Aura scrapper that has been pretty good. Got a little boring around level 38 but as I get some IOs into the build to boost defense I am finding it fun to plan again.
  2. Thanks for teaching me something new. I’ve had several builds with super reflexes with both a 50 tanker and 50 scrapper but I never even looked and Nin. It has a heal and end+ while having great defenses against all. Stone seems like a strong choice to go with it but what about ice, energy, electric or street justice or even spines?
  3. Which build were you using? I was creating a level 50 build with the assumption the incarnates and badges would help with endurance. I also tend to slow down my attack chains in controllers to leave me endurance for the larger endurance powers when they come back up. Likely tough and weave should be added later in the build as you level. You can also add in a few SO endurance reductions starting with the toggles and then the higher endurance powers. Get more endurance in stamina also. You just need to sacrifice some damage procs for endurance until you have incarnates.
  4. Thanks for your builds and thoughts. So is Earths Embrace not a must have for the extra hit points. Also tell me how durable your build is with under 25% defense. Do controls make it safe to have lower defense? What attacks do you lead with to avoid aggro? Can you solo with your builds and what attacks are best for small mobs while soloing? I like Arcane Bolt but don’t see it in your builds.

Hi all, I like stone armor now that I see you can minimize the stone effect in costume design and it’s a strong resistance set with enough defense to soft cap s/l How have others addressed the endurance issues and more importantly how do you hand the -speed when rooted on using granite? Is teleport the must use travel power for granite tanks? What about hasten and super speed? What are good secondary choices with stone armor? I was trying energy melee but not sure. Also my build plan had the -to hit power from the epic pool and also mud pots which is over 2.5 END/sec with all toggles running including sprint so I can move on and assault. Something has to give.
  6. Thank you very much for the great feedback. I’ll look at it closer after work and review further the need for hasten and higher recharge. Could this build be at all playable with no defensive powers and SOs? I’m mainly trying to understand how much defense I would need if I was hitting everything with -to hit debuffs. I have an initial SO build in Mids that is probably laughable but I’m trying to make it playable before I invest time and influence into an IO build.
  7. So I play some and think about builds too much. Anyone have thoughts on a rad/dark tank? Thinking the -to hit in dark would go well with rads -def Any good builds or thoughts appreciated. What’s a fun tank that does damage? Wish stone didn’t look so horrible.
