How did you go with your build mate? I'm having an absolute blast with my demons/thermal - so much dps out of the little devils and so much survivability out of the thermal toggles I find! 😄

Wow, you managed to pick up pretty much all the powers, especially thermal! I assume all of the healing/rez team powers work on your pets then, or did you take some of them more for team play? I mostly solo, so would be good to know which ones I can skip. Playing a demons/thermal MM right now, more for thematic reasons, eh.

I love stealth in-game for any toon (along with sorcery flight/teleport!). BUT, I just started a MM demons/thermal, so no native stealth :(. Are there any pool powers or IOs, etc that give team stealth...? Otherwise I guess my only option is to unsummons all of the pets if I want to stealth past mobs to the mission objective say, yeah...? Cheers!

Howdy from down under! (not Hell where demons come from, the Hell where the Labor party gets another 3 years lol! ;). Just rolled a demons/thermal theme toon yesterday, oddly enough. So would be good to get someone's take on this combo, not sure how popular or effective it is for solo play mostly. Prob not the most powerful, given I don't think I've ever seen one online, eh.

I'd also throw some Corruptors into the mix, if you really want to pew pew and solo through content quickly. I have a Selene from Underworld dual-pistols/dark, which is just a theme build, but was fun. You can pair a number of 'techy' secondaries with DPs with a corruptor which will add a lot more versatility to your build than just an armour or melee blapper powers, imo. Plus, SCOURGE!!! 🙂 FWIW, the most survivable blaster I ever built was a dark/ninjitsu, but that's not the theme you're looking for, eh.

Hah, that was my first hero and blaster on live - Kelvin Ator, an Ice/Fire blaster! I think I had just read the first book in GoT when CoH started, so the combo just popped, eh. Below is the final look - the original looked like an escapee from a clown asylum lol!

Just remember, no matter what goes wrong in a party, it's ALWAYS the dps' fault! 🤣

I was just thinking along similar line - Peacebringer + Warshade! They could mooch team buffs a little bit off each other, but would also be a formidable dps/dps combo. If they need a tank, either can drop into dwarf form and jump forward, taunt, etc - when they get low, switch around, so you have a kiting/rotating dps/tank combo!

Me as necro/dark MM and the other one is my army of minions! 🤣

He will be able to jog (and fly) twice as fast, once he grows his moustache! 🤣
