    Woot! Just hit 30, added a LotG power and hey presto! Perma-dom yipee!!! Changes the whole gameplay approach, for sure.

    Now, it's touch and go if I don't refresh Hasten within a sec or two of it expiring, I then miss out on Dom which is flashing as I re-apply it right now.

    Watching Hasten like a hawk was a pain, so I'm just autoexecing the 2 powers manually alternating in turn, as I don't really like any of the binds people have suggested, eh.

    Will have another 7.5% set completed next level, which should give me a bit more breathing room.

    Wish there was the option to autoexec a second power... sniff

    Ok, so there is a way, but it might be a little naughty, ahem.

    What I did was create these 2 binds:

    9 "powexecslot 9$$powexecauto hasten"

    0 "powexecslot 10$$powexecauto domination"

    I then emptied those 2 tray slots to prevent the push-button 'power not ready' constant sound.

    And then moved the powers to another pair of buttons, for visibility more than anything.

    Finally, I then used my Logitech mouse macro to simply press the 9 and 0 each every second and bound the toggle to a spare mouse button.

    This prevents my Domination running out currently, as I barely have enough recharge to sustain it. Only downside is if you have to alt-tab out of the game it may not work (and definitely won't if you toggle the macro off, which you might want to do in other apps anyway, as your keyboard pressing 9...0...9...0 continually is obviously quite annoying ;).

     

    So, is that completely against the EULA/gameplay terms...? I am clearly only at 'testing' stage. :classic_ninja:

    Levelling advice 40-50

    Also, enjoy the game, getting to 50 and the incranates is not something you need to rush.  Play the game.  The story arcs in PI at this level get you a very good accolade, and there is a decent story there.

     

    Thanks laudwic, guys, been most helpful. Will take your advice about running the lest time-demanding group content, and up to +2/x3 story content solo.

    I have about 320mill saved across my mains, as I've been playing the AH for a while now on & off, so I should be ok hopefully. I'm using Carnifax's cheap IO build & have everything twinked out with attuned sets + 40 IOs, which I'll upgrade to 50 at 47 & then boost to +5 as I get to 50. The Superior Will of the Controller will be the expensive, currently going for 15-20mill each = up to 120mill (yikes!).

    FYI, all of the above is true except where I say I want the name purge.  I don't actually care.  594rk is already level 50 and fully tier 4 incarnate and specifically built for tanking the Avatar of Hamidon in the Underground trial.

     

    I hear Wolverine hasn't used his name in like 7 years, so that should be fair game too!

    (unless you count his upcoming return with DP via the multiverse I suppose...)

    Ahhh, those were the days...pretty sure there were hundreds of ppl down at Ms Liberty, just my PC of the day could only handle 1024x768 with a draw distance of 3 metres lol!

    - Elektra Luxx (my PB :) - and if you know where that's from, you must be a dirty old man like me! :classic_biggrin:

    - Psycho Maiden (Shield/Psi tanker)

    - Max Arsenal (Arse/Arse dom :)

    - Raidioactive (Rad/Atomic blaster)

    - Miss Memory (psychic/mental blaster)

    - Elsa Frozenice (ice/ice stalker)

    Levelling advice 40-50

    Back on live I only ever got my ice/fire blaster to 44 I think, before I gave up on the grind & eventually the game got shut down.

     

    I've now gotten my Ill/Dark troller to 40 (I have chronic alt-o-holism & very limited time!), and noticed the very slow XP bar progress, even with double XP. So, my question, what would be the best place(s) to do some group power-levelling for the last 10 levels? I'm a bit over DfB/DiB runs, so hoping there is some other area/zone/game mode I can join relatively easily. I also can't spend hours in TFs or whatnot, as I often only have a half hour/hour at most to play. Do I just add +1/2/3 to mob level and team size while I solo & see how I go? She currently steam-rolls all +0/0 content, no surprise there!

    My main is Ill/Dark, I really don't understand anyone who wants to look any further if you mostly solo ;). Ill/Storm is the classic after all.

    I want to try Time at some point. And I think a Ill/Dark Dom rather than a troller could be awesomesauce! *duck*

    Having said all that, I'd really appreciate some suggestions on the fastest, reasonably fun way to level her up 40-50. Just going 39-40 is feeling really slow, even with double XP, although she tramples all 0/0 content, so perhaps time for me to bite the bullet & try +1/2 difficulty...? What's the most fun fairly quick group content I can do at this level, ala DiB/DfB...?

    I was looking for a fun, relatively strong solo stalker. I had a lvl 12 elec/energy, which I went back to for a few levels and didn't really grab me - long power inception times, mediocre single dmg, etc. Long ago I had a rad/rad stalker 'Roentgen' (pretty proud of that!), which I parked at 15, must play her a bit more.

     

    So I've also tried dark/dark dom (very nice), D/D defender (so so), D/D Sentinel (ok, needs more time) and more recently a D/D stalker, which I also need a bit more time with.

    BUT, I've now rolled a D/D Troller 'Styxia' (don't ask me why! I think I have an unhealthy affinity with the dark...), and am going to give her a fair shake :classic_biggrin::

    Food for thought: outside of perceived support ATs like Defenders, approximately 0 builds posted in the Archetype forums are optimized for teaming. Whereas builders will juggle slots around for 20 minutes to squeeze out +3% DPS.

     

    If that's true, then grind levelling trials like DiB & DfB should be nerfed to the buggery! :classic_biggrin:
