i ended up playing my archery/trick arrow defender we were on excelsior and my toon is "Acid Arrow". Debuffing with flash arrow and acid arrow let them not get hit and hit so it was a pretty good fit. i joined their group and went down to their level. they had 2 scrappers, a corrupter, a controller, and myself. Think it was a success and they will likely continue to play we may meet up once a week for a regular run playing with discord server. i also play paper and pencil every 2 weeks over at one of their houses on saturdays so nerds we are. These people are all old, im in my 50s and im the youngest. ^^

my wifes pc is on windows 10 im sure it can still run coh if i tried (it was my old pc) i like brave browser for blocking bad stuff. get brave browser and keep ur windows 10.'

Monday some of my paper and pencil rpg nerd friends are going to hop on discord and meet me on homecoming to play coh. 1. Should i let them learn the game or push them like the vet i am? 2. What sort of low key support toon would be good to tag along with them if i want to help them but not push them as they explore the game? it's potentially 4-5 new players for the server.

I think that is the beauty of this game that you can make of it what you want and do the things that you find interesting. I actually enjoy farming. I enjoy making characters. And i like to do stuff that is weird. I have a vet level 30 petless mm for example. Sometimes i will try weird or unpopular stuff and there is often a reason why some combinations are not popular. I recenrtly got on this tanker/spine kick so i made my farmer which is willpower spine, made a fire melee willpower with sorcery enflame, and i made an ice armor spine tank.

I never thought this would become a farming discussion but i enjoy farming or i wouldn't do it. Never do what you do not enjoy -- if we are dispensing advice. I have lots of influence and piles or purples and i thought what should i build with this?

As i said i have all these alts but I might make one really powerful character. If you had a decent farmer and could pay for it what would you build? Something that either could kick ass or was interesting.

is there a player rating system? you run a spreadsheet? i used to /ignore lots of people but then i just decided to go with the flow.

Like I said, i been here for years. Mostly on the RP server. When someone on the rp server runs a farm many times its an open farm. I see on Excelsior farm looking for hitters/buffers over lvl 30. Or i see radio mission lfm over 20, or someone is looking for a hollows run for 3 more and i say ok, and they come back with do you have any other characters besides an MM? I told the person i don't, this is my only character on the server. True i have many on the rp server which is what i said. Then ghosted. My impression is not good. But tell me the other side so i can understand if there is one.

I'm on the roleplay server and im trying to make some heroes that are not supermen. which is more interesting superman who defeats everyone with no trouble or a pizza delivery driver who runs into a burning building and saves lives? It depends. One punch man was pretty good. Also, trip mine on a defender is not much but trip mine on a mm is nasty. i also have defenders. i skip trip mine.

So people wanted to see my beast/traps with no pets build since i was saying he was my favorite and i never had pets. He doesn't use any beast powers. Melee/traps/and he has provoke. It's always a trap. i have no idea how to show this build but its attacked as legacy i think Magic Trap.mxd

I hate controllers but im going to try arsenal trap. i may play a controller so it did do something.

Defenders don't do much damage so if you want to be a damage machine you need to use procs. Almost all the trap powers are useful i used to skip time bomb but now its detonate i dont know, probably still skip it. I also skip trip mine because the damage is not that good on a defender-- its better on a controller or mm as it is a pet.
