  1. To the first part, yeah, I've even had timed missions where I've died and had to run back and still had time to complete the mission with ease within the timer. To the second part... we need a Red Side mission where you are tasked to deliver a pizza to a super base in an attempt to get in undercover to plant a bug. Instead everything goes tits up so you have to blast your way in, barracade yourself inside while your contact ransacks their computer remotely, all while police and supers form up outside. Maybe having to run around the base to stop infiltration attempts. Then you have to blast your way back out through them and escape.
  2. Not sure how much this will translate to the Sentinel, but Dual Pistols on my defenders and blasters back during live always felt like they wanted to be in the melee mix. Ninjitsu has a stealth ability to let you get a small boost to your alpha. So, sneak into melee, alpha strike, then sit there and continue gunning them down might be a viable strategy. I think I saw mention of that idea in the DP guide stickied here too when I was reading through them trying to decide on my primary set.
  3. Thank you all for your input! This helps to settle my nerves a great deal and has convinced me my first toon to level 50 is going to be a Sentinal. Now to decide if I want to use a somewhat familiar power set (Elec, Nrg, or Rad) or play with one of the two new sets I see in the list (Siesmic and Storm).
  4. So, Sentinals in so many ways seem to fit what I've always wanted. A true Iron Man style character. But everywhere I look all I am seeing is that Sentinals are completely outclassed by every other AT at what they are supposed to be good at. I've even seen several claims that Blasters, the glass cannon AT if there ever was one, is more survivable than a Sentinal due to their later power set add ons (Mace/Wu/etc). My only hope is the fact that most of these seem to be from over a year ago and there was mention that the HC dev's were giving the AT a passover to improve its performance. So I'm wondering, is the Sentinal's Damage as bad as I'm hearing (less than 40% of a blaster) while having defense/resist numbers so low that they have never been seen prior to the AT? Or is it all over inflated bashing on the new kid on the block? Was it fixed if it was that bad once upon a time? And lastly, I see the thread on the power set break downs, but is there a guide out there on Sentinels in general? I really really want to like what I'm seeing here, but I'm worried I'll feel severely let down.
