  1. Thank you for the reply and for giving this attention, Arcanum! Knowing it's being discussed is great, and we truly appreciate that you posted here to let us know it had been seen. I uh...don't have any solution-themed alcohol to offer you in these trying times, so here's a picture of a stoat in full alpha predator mode instead. Thank you again!
  2. If that's the case, what about a setting for Null that allows players to opt in/out of phasing abilities? With certain enemies made immune and players able to opt out, it would solve the problem with a minimum of powerset fiddling, if that helps to save time and effort on the devs and the code.
  3. I agree with this wholeheartedly. That one uninvited person can grief a 48 person raid is intensely frustrating. This has been an ongoing problem with Hamidon recently, and I've seen it happen with U'Kon in the MSRs as well. That a single person can deny 48 others the means to enjoy the game and earn the rewards that allow them to kit out their characters is unacceptable. I believe in the decisions that the devs make regarding these things, and the instanced MSR runs is an -amazing- start. Making Hamidon and other raid bosses immune to phasing/shifting would be an incredible second step, and would ensure that nobody but the raid participating can dictate the success or failure of a raid attempt. Thank you to any dev looking on, we appreciate your attention in this! -Die in the Disco
  4. Thank you for continuing to update this guide. Savages like myself are still a work in progress, and every refinement you update with helps hone our wiggly blasts and pinchy claws.
  5. So you're implying that they should keep under-performing servers active to appease the very small number of people that want to play a massively multiplayer online game on an unpopulated server? I'm sorry, there's no response that can be given to you that will satisfy whatever your concern is. The fact is that the game was made to be multiplayer, and so underpopulated servers are being given attention to bolster them. That's all anybody can tell you, as that's the very nature of the game itself. Best of luck.
  6. I'm not sure what that has to do with the double XP reward comment I was replying to. A rather good answer to your comment is that they are keeping five shards up, so why not try to have all five active? At peak hours if everyone is on then the shards fill up and people can't get in as well. It's objectively a better situation for everyone if they have five shards with medium population as opposed to two shards with waiting lines. It's a great idea to encourage new people to join to bolster other shards, and offering a carrot to do that is good thinking.
  7. Both Everlasting and Excelsior have thriving, busy populations. The other three servers are near ghost towns. Doing a special event to help build them up is objectively a very good idea. Consider having a population that you can find a team with at any hour to be a year-round celebration. Every character I have is on Excelsior, and I appreciate Torchbearer, Indomitable, and Reunion getting events to build them up. They need it, we don't. Just my two influence.
  8. Fascinating, is that a """new""" kind of thing for Going Rogue? I played back in live but I don't think I did that mission then. Either way, as you said, the ambush was more than enough for a delicate young controller such as myself to be face-planted. We don't have enough meat on our bones to absorb all those bullets and swords.
  9. This is a copy/paste of a petition I made. Here's hoping it helps if it proves to be a glitch. I've since auto-completed the mission, but the glitch in question happened both initially and after a restart of the game. I'm currently on the second 'Hunt Down Shen' mission given by Bobcat in Praetoria, and upon entering there's a trigger for a caption to play and an ambush to spawn. I'm playing solo on base difficulty and the ambush spawns upwards of twenty enemies, making the mission unbeatable, even for a razor keen mind/empath such as myself.
