So my laptop is somewhat ancient, running Windows 7 and I keep getting an error regarding my .NET framework installation - I updated to 4.8, but I get an error because I don't have version 4.0.x, and trying to install the 4.0.x version fails with an error because my Windows 7 isn't up to date, but I can't update Windows 7 because it's no longer supported. It seems like I won't be able to use mods on this machine, and it's a major bummer :(
