It's actually puzzling to me that nothing has been done to make zooming the map window contents easier. It would be great to have something as simple as "if the mouse cursor is inside the map window, scrolling the mouse wheel would change the zoom of the map in the window." I'm certain it's not easy, as there may be no way for the underlying software to detect which window the mouse is over, but I would hope it could be worked out. For instance, right clicking works differenty in each window, so something must exist for this purpose.

I realize the original post was six years and an entire pandemic ago, but as a returning player running an MM through the Praetorian scenarios for the first time I want to thank the OP and all of the folks who contributed to this. It is for Homecoming, and people like this that made me happy to contribute to the server funds for my first time and probably going forward.
