  1. I know it's unlikely to happen due to the limitations of the engine, but if you had the ability to remix your minions to look different (while still having the same powersets) then how would you make them look? For example, I'd make my Thugs look like Post-Apocalyptic raiders with the Brute being a super mutant, or Cyberpunk gangsters in neon and chrome with the brute as a cyborg. Or even make them all Orks! Mercenaries I'd clean up to look like stormtroopers or world war 1 soldiers with gasmasks, with the Commando as an officer. Or I'd make them all look like Longbow or Sky Raiders and lead a strike team! The Ninjas could be retooled in a lot of ways with technology or magic or even making them jedi with lightsaber katanas. Oni's tricky though... Beasts... well, dunno what to do there. Maybe make similar-level animals? Or just a bunch of hamsters of varying size? Demons could easily be remixed into all sorts of mystical critters or monsters, or even re-skin them as straight-up wizards and be the leader of a sorcerers' cabal. Robots are a bit hard due to their mesh, but if that wasn't a concern there's all sorts of androids, gynoids, and other such you could have fun with. Necromancy would be a blast just due to all the crazy undead you could make. Undead samurai, peasants, policemen... heck you could dress them up as villain gang members for extra creep factor; the low-level zombies could be Hellions or Skulls, the grave guard could be Tsoo or Warriors, and the Lich could be a Circle of Thorns or Banished Pantheon mage. Really dig in for that horror feeling! What do you all think? What would you like to try if you could?
  2. I've done a couple MMs, but the one that feels most 'Evil Genius' to me is Thugs. It reminds me of a lot of Batman villains that lead groups of nonpowered punks, and Gang War really reinforces the 'Get him!' feeling. I do wish Mercenaries were better, they'd be perfect for GI Joe or Warhammer shenanigans.
  3. Dang, didn't expect this much of a turn-out! Martial and Temporal seem like the go-to's, but I'll look at Psychic too. Didn't even think about Corrupter. I think I need to go forum-diving again... Thank you everyone!
  4. Hello folks! I'm a long time blaster fan but I never really got to try Duel Pistols when it came out. I recently made a Dual Pistols/Ninja Training build, and found that while I love the pistols I have come to shake my head when I think of Ninja Training. (I hadn't tried it before and it fit the character theme of 'cyberpunk street-samurai') Now I'm thinking about a re-roll but I don't know what would fit. Anyone got a good rundown for what would match well with Dual Pistols?
  5. YEEEEEE HAW! Ladies and gentlemen, boys, girls, robots, freaks and capes of every size and stripe, WE ARE BACK! It's been a long time kiddies, and much like a Nemesis plot, we were caught unprepared when this glorious gem decided to rise from the grave for one hell of an encore! But let's not let the sudden appearance of this gorgeous undead creation make us forget the brilliant necro-coders that made this mad-science possbile! So to the revivifying force behind City of Heroes: Homecoming, lemme just say... thank you. Thank you for being cool and collected enough to bring this out. Thank you for bringing back some damn fond memories. And thank you for throwing one hell of a party and inviting us all to join in! Now we may not know if this'll last. Could be those demon-sorcerers over at NC-soft are already performing their ritual of 'Cease-and-Desist'. Maybe this won't last til' the end of the week. But to hell with that! If this ship's going down, it's going down with a swingin' party and folks raising their glasses as we ride into the sunset! So thank you for giving us the opportunity, and I hope to see you in-game!
