    Don't forget Blood Widow!  And Bane Spider!  And Blapper!  And Dominator . . . and . . . ok, maybe I'm stretching things a bit here, but . . . well . . .

They're all Archetypes which I enjoy more than Scrapper.   *shrug*

(Also, whoops!   I said "Bill" earlier, when I meant @MunkiLord.   That's bad of me.)

You got nervous when talking trash about Scrappers and made a mistake, I get it.

  2. If it's something I work on a regular basis I'll either wait them out or move my bids high enough that there is little to no profit and the other person typically moves on relatively quickly.

If I'm moving in on another person's niche I'll be super aggressive for a few days to a week then move on and circle back around in a month or so.

I just hit 20 with mine and War Mace eats end like candy lol.

Would love to see your build btw

Here's what my current build is, not bad but this could definitely use some work. It'll get you through any standard content without a problem. The second build is a respec build I started over a year ago that I apparently never finished because I still have two power choices.

My question stands, whether you're talking 50+ or sub-50 content. The problem is once you begin to balance content around IOs the IO system is no longer optional for participation in that content and you're locking out players who would otherwise be interested in participating. At least with incarnate-based content you can grind that out and simply playing the game will eventually get you the resources you need to participate, but the same can't really be said for IOs. Besides, if you're making new content more difficult without increasing the rewards to compensate you're already ensuring that content won't be significantly utilized. Players will continue to gravitate toward the content that maximizes rewards for the time/effort which will continue to be existing content.

I don't think all new level 50 content should be designed with IOs in mind, but I do feel a significant portion should, half or more with increased rewards to reflect the difficulty. Yes that means some people will never use that content, but that's ok in my opinion.

  5. I can't say for sure if slotting Cardiac alone will fix the problem, but it should get you most of the way there if not. If you have one SO worth of end redux in most of your toggles then you'll get almost the full benefit since ED will be a relative non factor.

I don't have Mid's in front of me and I'm not overly familiar with Stone Armor, but if my memory is correct I think with Granite and a few sets you should be able to relatively easily drop Weave? So that could be something to aim for as well. If I'm wrong, someone more smarter please correct me.

All that being said, slot then test your build as is before doing anything. Decent chance that will answer your question. If you're still not sure or your endurance problems are still terrible then posting your build would be helpful.

One final thing I suggest is looking at your attack endurance slotting as well. In most cases attacks use significantly more endurance than toggles.

But -would- they need to comply with those regulations?  The servers are based out of Canada (and Germany), and the FCC doesn't have jurisdiction here.

True, but didn't they register as a non profit in the U.S.? No idea, but perhaps that is enough to force compliance?

When someone is arguing momentum counters TW having far away best in class damage and a host of buffs and knocks is when I realize I'm arguing against a Skip Bayless and I should do something more productive.

That's harsh. Bayless is, well, I'm not allowed to say certain things on these forums. His comments about Prescott were disgusting. Bayless has always been trash.

  8. Instant Healing should very clearly be a toggle, but much less than it used to be. And Moment of Glory should cap HP, regen, defense, resist, debuff resist, and pretty much everything else defensive for about ten seconds. That could be fun.

And then Scrappers should get Super Strength and Stone Melee at the same time.

Was that a change later in the game's life (either close to the snap or Homecoming specific)? Back on Live I always thought set bonuses were lost when exemplared low enough to lose the power...

Um, have I been mistaken about that this whole time...? 🤨

I think it's just one of those things that was accepted by people as true and not really questioned, I don't think this was something that ever changed. I know I thought that at some point too and this comes up from time to time.

I suppose changing a Master's badge requirements at this point would get more than a few folks in a bit of a tizzy, and rightly so.

It just seemed to me that if you get a master run - as opposed to another group that didn't - you deserved a few more merits. But, I hadn't thought about the ouro arc challenges for badges, master runs without inspirations, and runs at +4/8, etc.

I guess ultimately, the badge IS the little bit extra.

Perhaps add some more badges and just add a +1/2/3/4 to the end?

And then the bottom line -- who do you expect to take away from the other things they're doing for the game to work on all of this?

What kind of question is that? That's 100% a developer/admin problem to solve if a suggestion was greenlit and went into development.

  12. I'm hoping to skip out on a console next gen myself, I have a PS4 Pro but I've only use it for a very small number of games and it's been untouched in like five months or so. I'm considering the next Xbox only because of the 0% financing option they are offering. I don't really need it, but the payment thing includes Game Pass and the One X has a 4K Blu-ray player and I've wanted one of those for a while.

If Sony starts releasing all their big games on PC, even if we have to wait a year or so, then Nvidia is likely to get all my money.

The Xbox One is a decent system but I game mostly on Windows 10 and have had nothing but problems with the cross platform games. The Microsoft Store frequently can't keep them updated unless you open the Store app and keep it open and it reserves that HDD space until the stalled install finishes or you go in and fix it with HDD partition tools. Not a big fan anymore.

I get that, I've been overall pretty lucky in this regard and haven't faced most of the issues I hear about. The majority of my gaming is on PC as well, I'm most excited about all the new games coming to Game Pass.

I should clarify my original statement though, when I say I like it I mean it in the context of acquisitions. In general I'm not a fan of industry consolidation(any industry) because in the long run it almost always leads to a worse experience for consumers.

If Microsoft can use this to negotiate with Sony to get their first party games on PC faster(or at all for some) then this would be a huge win. God of War for PC? Yes please.

  14. I like it. When it comes to video games Microsoft is easily the most consumer friendly of the three console manufacturers.

Game Pass was already the best deal in gaming, now it's only going to get better. The value is amazing. Microsoft pushes cross platform play, their backwards compatibility is second to none, and they've done well with Minecraft since they bought that.

Nintendo creates artificial scarcity in their hardware and with the new Mario bundle is doing it in software now too. It's a manipulative tactic.

Sony has some of the best first party games no doubt, but their habit of paying off third parties for exclusive content is annoying as hell. They make it incredibly difficult to impossible to unlink my defunct EA account from my PSN profile. And they had to be dragged kicking and screaming into crossplatform play.

Is it bad that this comment made me slightly aroused?

(edit) Also: "good nipple"?  Do you also have a "bad nipple"?

It can happen. For example, did you know that nipples can get sunburned? Because I didn't. And that if they're pierced and one of them has healing issues that the sunburn sucks even more? At least that's what I've been told...

Whatever metric you wanna use to decide 'finished' is great, some people are finished when they have all the badges, some when they T4 alpha, some T4 everything.  It'd be great to hear what some people consider finished, as well!  I am just a simple gal so all T4 is a simple way to call my girls 'done'.

For me done is going to vary a bit by character.

So that puts me at about 7.5 in that case.

A few I reached my build goals like accolades, IOs, and incarnates.

I was pretty much done with my Ice/Fire Blaster as soon as I did a solo Master ITF. Still room for improvement on him, but I feel I've peaked with that character.

Impeccable Girl was my first 50 on HC, an Elec/SD Scrapper and I've done everything I want to with that character. Her build is extremely sub par, but I'm leaving it as is so I can always remember how rusty I was. But it's ok, she's retired to the top of the Atlas statue in AP and enjoys her days on the market.
