For my build only Doom... for my build only. To get the ranged defense I went 6 slot with stupefy. It has a KB proc in it.

One of my favorite builds. I went the acrobatics route instead of clarion. I took nerve agility for the defense buff boost which gets me to softcapped for melee and ranged. There are other options.
It plays beautifully but solo is a slow burn. On teams it's fantastic.
Pop stone cages before stalagmites otherwise they'll go flying.
Have not looked at the new IO sets but there may be changes I can do. That being said, I love him just the way he is.

Have been running into this and didn't know what it was. Appreciate the suggested fix.

Maybe a bots/elec affinity MM. So when it's just you two you'd have a bit of an army as well. And it's my understanding there's good synergy between Bots and elec affinity.
Despite whatever you pick, enjoy.

You can get rid of boxing or brimstone armor. Losing boxing will lose some bonus to cross punch and losing brimstone armor will lose a bit of psionic res. If I had to pick, I'd drop the brimstone armor and pickup TP foe if that's a power you want.

Several of us who normally speed run content did second SO/HO builds. No incarnates allowed. Was fun. We still sped through the content but we ran together as a group and had a tank/brute with taunt, a therm, kin, bubbler and a few others.
Not difficult by any stretch but was fun and nostalgic.

I have 10s of great toons, top of mind, all unstoppable in their own rights:
fire/atomic blaster (softcapped to most typed, fun and fast)
fire/time corr (Softcapped positionals, great buffs, debuffs)
Nature/water defender (melee and ranged softcapped, great buffs and debuffs, 2 heals)
Poison/sonic defender (close to 150% -res opportunity against targets)
stone/granite tank (39.5 mph in granite, defense and res softcapped)

Use beast run or ninja run then from the p2w vendor.
If your toon isn’t a beast or ninja, pretend that he or she used to be and they’re trying to curb those tendencies but can’t quite do it.

Nature/water defender is one of my favorites. Synergistic and a beast at 50 with the right build. Softcapped to melee and ranged with good resistance, end recovery, buffs, debuffs, Regen, heals, blah blah blah.
Hands down, the best toon in my roster.

Both are great with the right build. The only benefit to rad it has stronger debuffs but my blaster is one of my favorite toons. Maybe roll one of each? Or pair something else up with the rad or blaster if you didn’t want two fire blast toons.

All my toons (male) run around in their underwear. Makes things easier. That and I use face #2.

Nice build, extremely solid base. I am a fan of softcapepd defenses so I made the 2 changes suggested above along with a few others and Agility. This softcaps me to ranged. I'm not sure how much defense is lost from superior invisibility once engaged but I may still be able to eek out softcap for ranged.
With ageless, my guess is PA will be perma, even with diminishing returns.
Ice arrow is nice for the cheap bonuses.
I figure if shit hits the fan, it'll be nice to be dodging attacks left right and center.

My group did it with SO/HO only builds, no incarnates.
- grav/kin troller
- therm/dark defender
- fire/kin corrupter
- ff/rad defender
- fire/fire blaster
- inv/ss tank
- ice/cold corrupter
I don’t remember #8 but it was a ranged toon.
Solid team, solid speed run, no deaths.
Going to do the LRSF next.
We 3 manned the STF as well with some pimped out builds so 5 manning it is totally doable.

That's awesome. I only took cross punch because it looked great slapping enemies across their faces with a big granite hand. And the sound is cool too. Appreciate it.

Huh, I never knew about "Fighting Synergy". Thanks. I farm too much, I have 52 50s, most built, I have maybe 10 that are decked out with ATOs and purples and what-not. Others I have built out a bit more cheaply, supported by incarnates to fill gaps but still decent builds. Or ranged defense toons, etc.
I don't usually run lower level stuff but I should. I have too many toons and I haven't gone back on any to get accolades... another thing I should do.
I'll have to read up on this "Fighting Synergy".

I got the base empowerment buff with my current build, went from 36.13 to 38.99. There's so much about this game I don't know.

Wow, that's a great look, Bopper. I never saw that Unbounded leap gave the 6% runspeed. Originally just went all out for run speed and then defense fell into place.
I'm not sure if I'll use ATOs and purples for this toon, but I might get there.
I like this look a lot. Appreciate your time and efforts. That's what I love about this game, there are hundreds of ways toons can be built.

Yep, I don't need it as an opener and at the time I built this, I don't think I was really using a lot of ATOs. One of the best things about this game is there's so many ways to build and play it. The other two builds look very nice too.
I typically go with stone cages, stalag, run in and thunderclap then I bring the pain!
Anyway, whatever you decide to go with, enjoy it. Or put your spin on your own build. There's no wrong way to eat a Resces or build a toon. Well I guess there is. Don't stick candy up your butt and don't 6 slot brawl.
