    (AS strike would require to drop an other attack. It would be FT, WS or more likely RA. Even without a nerf to the powerset on the other AT, it would be a sub-par TW because they all are key powers)

I gave up trying to tank anymore, i'm to used to old school tanking and that does not apply these days because everyone is in such a hurry for EVERYTHING now and no one cares in the slightest about letting anyone do their job in game.  Get rid of the aggro cap so if you grab too many its now a challenge and a healer is actually needed, and groups learn to stick together as a team. the "TEAM" has gone out of this game and no one knows how to utilize the TEAM concept.

    it’s the same thing on other MMOs

     

    try to apply an old slow tanking tactic in heroic dungeons in WOW and people are going to be (very) rude with you.

     

    on CoH with powerful team, I usually take the alpha strike, throw an aoe and a taunt, and go to the next group of enemies as soon as the team catch up.

    I’m pacing the team and I’m fine with it.

    I removed TK thrust for Poison ray,

    changed a few IO and leveled pvp IOs to +5.

    you're seating at 45% S/L/E.

    a bit more rech

  8. I’m a big fan of both armor sets.

    I’d say rad is more expensive and difficult to pimp, but much more effective defensive wise. You can cap almost every resist and get your S/L def to the softcap. All of this on top a a very good regen power and a shield power. Did I mentionned the +rech aura ? And the best secondary T9 available ?

     

    elec armor is easier to tune (S/L/E resist cap+S/L def softcap) and has a damage aura. 

    with rad armor, don’t skip any power. 

     

  9. Also, Titan Weapons wins, so scrapper?  Stalkers don't get Titan Weapons.

     

    I picture a tiny WB cartoon character sneaking around with a ridiculously large mallet behind its back when I think of stalkers with titan weapons.

     

    you did not play Dark Age of Camelot with the 2 handed Axe kobold assassins (stealth class)

  10. The damage penalty has always been there. The defense hit is more recent and the way it is now never made it into the live game. How to get around the defense issue is to not play a defensive based set unless you cary around lucks to offset the crash or use rage sparingly and make sure everything is dead before it crashes.

    I’d add that using rage on need instead of double stacking it like before is also a solution

  11. hello ! the goal of my brute is tanking every content of the game.

    I made a Rad Armor tanker at first (staff for the debuff), but I'm close to get something as tanky with my brute build.

    45% def S/L with barrier last 5%.

    85+% resist S/L/E/F with barrier last 5%

    I just lack a fe more resist and maybe a few more rech. but I'm unable to do better !

     

    Influence is not an issue

  12. Hello.

    I'm tweaking my main char build for some time, and can't see how I can improve it now.

    I'm still at 130sec recharge for hasten (with 50+5 IOs)

    I want to keep 45% S/L, 32.5% E/N/F/C

    Moonbeam is not necessary, but helps me killing running away mobs. maybe I can swap it for water spout with 2 -res procs ?

    teleport other is, again, not mandatory if you can bring me to perma hasten, otherwise I want to keep it.

    With lore pets and break frees- 70 seconds (1:10) for ~675dps

     

    So yeah, lore pets do a LOT of dps, that was with longbow

     

    you probably used lingering radiation too ?

     

    I mean, it's within my powerset and I use it on AVs as well, so yeah

     

    can you try without it, so we can have an idea of the effectiveness of -500% regen debuff ? (not sure how it works on Objects like pylon, only 1/6th of its value like GM ?)

  15. Hello,

    today, I was unable to enter the door missions of my TF

    I was leader of the TF.

    When I clicked on the door, nothing happened and my char was stuck for a few seconds, before being free (but not entering the mission)

    I tried to log out/in

    to change toon

    to change zone then come back

    a GM TP'd me in the mission, but the bug happened again with the next mission

     

    I also noticed that the architect option was activated on the Nav windows, even if I was in a Synapse TF
