Sorry I used voice to text and And that really butchered my Post. This game crashed earlier this morning Just once. Tonight I played about 3 hours and it crashed twice very both times I suddenly experienced a black screen while in a mission one time the other I was an Atlas park Putting together a team and I crashed your black screen and then I couldn't recover so I close the application

A few days ago some of you were kind enough to help me When I was looking to getting a new dust top to play city of Heroes with. It's been running great and the only concern I have is I known to sometimes I will disconnect to random. I was in the middle of the mission a moment ago with the team full of people and I just Disconnected. I feel badd because I didn't remember the names of the team mates so I couldn't send them an apology tell. I'm drawn to prevent these disconnections in the future. I am not sure what the issue is I have a feeling it may be in the settings? Thanks for all of your advice. I decided to spend a little more than I planned. I found this on sale at Office Depot. I think this should run COH okay. Its not top shelf but it suits my needs since COH is really the only game I plan on playing for the foreseeable future. Thank you Goblin. With my budget I'm only allowing myself to spend the money on the cheapest PC or laptop i could afford that will allow me to play COH without worry. Even if it just have an HDD.

So just to make sure. If it is a "modern" new PC I purchase to play COH with, can I purchase a PC with an HDD drive instead if one with an SSD drive? I'm on a budget and I've read PC's with an SSD drive are a little more expensive than ones with just an HDD drive.

My current PC is in need of a replacement if I want to continue to play COH. If I were to invest in a new desktop can I get a modern non gaming desktop for preferably under $400? Also because I'm in a budget I cant really afford to pay top price. If it is a newer model can I get by with an HDD drive rather than an SSD drive? I'm on disability so I can't afford to spend too much money on a new PC. Thanks

I understand and increasing difficulty does lead to better Rewards. I just get tired of seeing people complain about the difficulty in some of the missions sometimes I'm so tempted to make the difficulty on Impossible if I could and let them take point. I guess I'm just a different kind of player I'm playing the staff fun and also try to succeed but I just find it funny how one person has to constantly bring it up.

I've always been big in creating teams. Every once in a while I'll get someone who says "you should increase the difficulty level. I usually run it +2 or higher. I get annoyed by some players who have to say something expressing their dissatisfaction with the difficulty of a mission. I must say I enjoy helping others. If it's to help a player clear an older mission i find joy in helping them knock it out. Sometimes I'll have a player who'd 2 or 3 levels below me. If their mission is in the same zone we are currently in I offer to help them clear it knowing its a little lower than me. If there are others on the team I'll ask if everyone's on board. 99 percent of the time people are cool with it. There's always that one guy who has to say something. And in some of those instances they live. I'll admit I am relieved when they do.

I am on a very tight budget. It was recommended to me that I purchase an SSD drive. Because I dont feel comfortable opening up my PC I was wondering if there are external SSD drives I can purchase. Also, how inexpensive can I go and how much memory do I need just to run COH?

Unfortunately I cant afford a new SSD at this time. Im disabled and on a tight budget. I guess I have to suffer

I should have added earlier that I too am using the same PC I used when I last played COH prior to shutdown. I wonder if we who are experiencing these issues are a minority if the current population in game. I only ask because I always team up and the others seem to be able to go about there business. I'm always the last to load in or out and first to disconnect

HDD

Interesting. I'm hardwired straight to my modem. I'm able to go through to the zones I've had to go to this far. I have pretty fast, reliable high speed internet. I just can't help but notice that when I team up I'm always the last one to exit a mission or enter a zone. And if course half the time I am disconnected after a few minutes on the load screen.

I have been experiencing disconnects while sometimes exiting missions. Also I will experience disconnects while traveling between different parts of the city. Usually there is a long load time while exiting. I notice my teammates dont seem to have these issues. Do others experience this as well?
