Wouldn't this be possible with a macro? Switch to costume no. 2 and activate Fly when I hit the macro. Costume slot 2 being identical with slot one plus the wings...

Expand it and read the whole thing. As one of the comments say, it might not be 100 % accurate for Homecoming but it's close.

Back on live I ran teams all the time and I was rather good at it, if I do say so myself. 🙂
The reason I don't now (barring teaming with my two sons) is that I lost contact with the game for such a long time. Now the TFs have changed, there are whole new parts of the game that I haven't played myself even once, most things are advertised as speed this and speedy that. I can tag along on something speedy but I rather not run the team then.

Usually I run a character to lvl 27 before they even get an enhancement. After that I figure out a build that will take me to lvl 50. After that it's on rails more or less. But with a multi computer, multi screen set-up I don't fear the respec. 🙂

I'm with mr. Snark. A true City of Heroes Empathy defender isn't a healer. Not in the same way as has been popularized in other games. Back in the olden days of CoH, the dislike Shen is refering to was an influx of poorly built, healing aura-on-auto, I'll be popular since I'm a healer kind of players.
The true empath in CoH was rocking RA and fortitude and was held in very high regard by most every team.
My own newbie thing is proabably the fact that I made the misstake of ranking empathy over every other defender build. I'm cured of that now I think, since I have loads of defender but no one empath. Might be the next thing for me...

Me too. My oldest wreck still plays CoH. Had to ditch wichever relic of Windows that was on it for PopOs! (Linux made easy) and now it runs like clockwork.. Ish.

Glad to see the clarification that it was XP, not 95, though marginally better... I remember in 2000 when McAfee didn't test their release against '98 because NT was close enough, and then crashed every single 98 system on bootup when that was released. Memory protection sucked.
I have two computers, one on Win10 and one on PopOs!. Both with CoH (why wouldn't you?). Both using the same mouse and keyboard using Barrier (that doesn't play nice with CoH. Something about reading the inputs wrong. Other games just fine, but not CoH. *cries*
Guess only secondary characters gets to play on Linux for me.

Hey JJ!
I just dinged 20 with my new mind/psi dominator. I'm just bad with the villain ATs to start with and can't even figure out how to play this guy. Could you please cobble together a build for me? Slotting kinda on the way to 50. After you are 50 I feel you can reslot for maximum purple/ATO/goodness.

If you want all the answers to all the stories you have to run all the content. That means lots of alts. Read all clues and souvenirs. Usually a neglected source of story and lore.
If you don't want to look at the wiki on the different factions, look up the contacts. They usually handle only one faction an after you have helped them out with whatever they need your help with they refere you to another contact or two. If there's a choice, you could refer to the wiki to follow the trail of the Lost or whomever you're currently hunting.

Was just looking around for a comment on this. Have you guys really seen any improvment? To be honest, and with the greatest respect for all the hard work behind it all, my perceived impression is that it's worse an more unresponsive than before. Just me?
