  1. I appreciate your acknowledgement of it regardless. Next time just do a better job at being hosts rather than focusing on explicit information when there was nothing to be confused of - you weren't unclear. The post said to make a reply on here OR ingame. You simply failed to follow through on your end for those of us waiting on a response or a reach out from the judges. At the very least it was your guy(s) and gal(s) responsibility to make sure everyone who followed your protocol had a chance to properly be involved.
  2. 3) 2 judges from the Vanguard League will begin scheduling tours about 2 weeks before the awards. Bases will be judged broadly on Theme, Creativity and Technical merit by each judge. The consensus of the committee is final. When was this? Because I didn't hear from anyone about tours at all.
  3. SG Name: Cu Sidhe Wilds Base name: Twisted Weald (can't change it in game?) Code: Sidhe-12413 SG lead Global: @Nashlani (main account) The twisted weald is a faerie forest meant to be a save haven to fae of all kinds. Seelie, Unseelie - better or worse. She is backed by a small army of drow in permanent secrecy to keep the home base guarded from invaders. These dark assassins are empowered by the forest's need of death in balance and tandem with all things. Wandering the forests will lead you here as the path is open to fae or friend of fae. (Three levels - First is the 'spawn' point where people see the tree and feel the effects of the twisted essence of the place by feeling stuck and lost. > A guide is almost needed as the first level goes through two tests. The initial 'lost woods' inspired 'find the right path' test. If that's failed you head to the hedgemaze and find your way out! Wrong paths will be dead ends or return the player to the entrance. Second layer/map is the hedgemaze which leads to the fae springs If you pass the path/rock test or make it through the hedgemaze, you find the tree in it's true glory. A golden haze protects it as it radiates with foliage and life. A home for the faeries as the tree has railings and ramps - leaving the golden haze returns the user to the unprotected region of the home. )
  4. Awesome, so I guess the real issue is that we are forced to utilize the support hybrid if we want any further benefit for our pets. I am focused more on CC with my alpha slot atm unfortunately but I suppose that's why usual groups @ +4x8 don't really pose much of a threat, just take a bit to break. And AV's are well.. Similar ordeal but if you take 30m to kill one even with 3 necro/dark MM's, then it's an issue of damage for certain. -- Appreciated regardless. Thank you for the response. I'll be sure to share this info with the others.

  6. No need to be hostile to someone who is commenting on something you said. Why even make a post if you're just going to be snarky to the first person who replies? Anyway... I'm not really sure what you are trying to say. Masterminds have the same incarnate options available to them as everyone else. No single powerset in the game is benefited by every single Alpha/Interface/Destiny/Hybrid ability but there is always one that will work for you. I personally have played several MMs at the incarnate level and never had any qualms with the options there. I've also never once had someone reject a MM from a team, or even express dislike for them beyond when pets block a doorway or something. Cool. Thanks for your input.
  7. I have seen only interface being the auto-applied buff from incarnates. Was even told that and support from hybrid were the only two to transfer over. In all honesty I've not felt a difference from any other incarnate bonuses on them than the Barrier and support from hybrid and beyond the level shift, I haven't found them really worth having (Save barrier/mez protection or regen/end) Support hybrid is kind of... Extremely lackluster compared to the rest with the option being so truly limited.
  8. I've found buildup being in tactics a better ordeal than in a self-buff by far. But that's mostly for uncontrolled dps. In all honesty with the AOE focus of this build I'm not sure that I'd trade anything out for it. All around well balanced on resistances and defense But I appreciate the input! I'm sure some one will benefit from it! :D
  9. Because clearly I'm talking only about incarnates and tf/trials. ::) Sarcasm aside. It doesn't happen all the time but that's not even the main issue at hand. Honestly did you make a comment just to be heard/read?

Was told that pretty much solves any extra endurance. HOwever I'm not sure on whats better at this point, barrier or ageless -- Ageless gives the cap to recharge and Barrier makes it so you'll never truly need a purple again. Bit of a self bump but this is what I could create and come up with for an all-around well balanced and rounded build. This of course is before incarnates involved which is what i'm looking for. I see incarnate as an unnecessary bonus but an awesome one regardless.
  12. So as I've been reading around, I haven't found anything to specifically address masterminds and their lack of incarnate options and abilities. Wanted to start a feedback post at least about that specifically. Right now I was told Alpha works for minions (But have seen no proof of this myself.) Interface and the support mod from the hybrid incarnate ability are all that applies I do believe. For those of us who are looking for min/max content and as well as better end/game playing, I think this would assist us a lot. Especially when the pets are annoying and dumb and most people would take a corr/def over MM's because of that in group settings anyways. (I've been overlooked for such before.) -- not saying it happens all the time. I prefer solo content most of the time anyhow. Any thoughts or opinions on this matter would be great.
  13. Planning on putting together a build and posting it here today. I was looking for any advice from any veterin dark armor / TW users. So far I only have five abilities from the melee section. Defensive Sweep Titan Sweep Follow Through Whirling Smash Arc of Destruction Going Soul mastery for the tentacles/debuff (also RP theme element) Influence is of no consequence, I've dedicated up to 2billion for this toon if necessary. But I want only one build. -- I appreciate everyone's time and effort and I try to keep these up and posted for anyone else who may use them in the future. Will post back when I create something, looking for critiques. Thanks!
  14. Didn't even know this post existed. Thanks. Found the one I modified off of Ship of Heroes (Archived forums?) And modified at the suggestion of Gmredux's early advice. Build was around 600mil - If I chose to craft, it would have been half that. I've avoided resistances for defense and of course -to hit (which is essentially more def) Haven't had issues yet and I'm rolling around at +4x8
  15. I really enjoyed looking over this build. I have actually already fully built mine based on the one I posted above with a few personal changes of course. And I decided to attempt a multibox actually and found them to be nearly godly. Incarnates with barrier/protections of status will definitely be options taken. I greatly appreciate that you posted this build as it helps me understand the class a bit better as well. Thanks so much for being helpful and awesome :D
  16. What the heck! You pretty much just stole my build. Found this on the old forums. I'm not sure if you read where I said I *found* and fiddled with this. I never claimed to create it. But just in case you're too slow to understand what that means, since you apparently are for choosing not to read: I in no way took credit for creating this. And the fact people on here are helpful is entirely why I got on to ask people for assistance. It's also why I shared what I found or what I will be using regardless as to not be self-centered about these trifling things.

  19. So here's what I found, modified and fiddled with at your suggestions as well. Thanks for your help! This looks like it might be hilariously fun. Plus with the tohit debuffs on top of the high def just seems like this'll be untouchable. Should multibox it for lols. Also ignore the incarnate stuff - I haven't fiddled with that. 20. I really appreciate the help! This will actually give me a lot of leeway to fiddle around and see what I feel up to doing. If I come up with something fun, I'll get to posting it. :)
  21. So I've been looking around and doing some reading. Hearing that necro/dark is still a thing and I'm almost eager to get back to it. Anyone have any build tips and suggestions for end game content to be viable? Resist heavy builds? High def low resist? I'm not sure what the caps are on the pets and what would be best. I have been doing some reading and know to franken slot the zombies and grave knights after 4 IO's for a set bonus. I think one has to have the ATO and the other can be just a pet based system. (meaning 2 slots are on hit chance stuff/ while the other 4 slots are for set bonuses)? Any assistance in this would be awesome! Even just a point in the right direction. I've just not found any builds for necro/dark that are current. Thanks for the help! :D
  22. Thanks for your... thoughtful post. A solution to that problem would be by reducing pet damage (50%) since their numbers are doubling. Or would be doubled. Still slightly stronger due to number count but it would definitely make the classes feel like they use to without making them crazy strong due to the new incarnate or IO stuff.
  23. Well, was hoping to have more support for trollers on this. Shucks. Was rolling with a grav and ice controller the other day who was swimming in nostalgia of having 2 pets with them. (2x JFrost/Grav singularity?) A solution instead of stacking is just enhance the number on base summon (say 4-5 imps instead of 10? MM's have 6 pets or more.) And JF/Phantasms etc can be popped at 2-3 (even if weakened/strengthened for balance.) Guess dreams of seeing this class return to it's glory of enjoyment (Before IO's and so on) will have to just remain dead. Can't even stimulate conversation on the topic even if it's just left at that. Theories and ideas. So this'll be my last response unless some one else responds. Not gonna keep bumping it. o/
  24. I did mention and speak specifically of imps. But I was looking for more of a solution to a potential change to what ALL controllers use to be. Instead of even pet stacking, why not change things to just have the spell itself summon more than one variance of themselves. (Gravity/ice/etc) and change the limit to 5-6 on imps. This way they (all controllers) still feel like the pets were earned, but are not the primary source of being over powered. Of course things might need to scale down a bit (imp strength so they're over all just 150% stronger and not 200% because of double numbers.) Other controllers already can't touch fire imps, I know this. I'm not speaking specifically of fire trollers. I am speaking of all controllers. I'd love to have CRITIQUE that adds to the conversation so please add in with any ideas that may make this potentially viable (and more fun for the old school trollers.) But most of my time was spent on my fire/rad. I loved whipping out my gravity guy for TF's and just all around CC. This isn't a "Make controllers God's again." - And it's not for the sake of having a class to farm with. I have my farming character. What I'm speaking of is nostalgic and enjoyment. I miss running around with 2-3 jack frosts though, and even though it was slow, it was strong. The effort put in to leveling the class was partially worth the pain because the pets truly completed them. Icing on the cake so to speak. And as some one who has played pet classes in every MMO out there. Ultima Online is the only other game to have done it right. (Also to speak the truth - IT WAS fun having 15 imps running around. But that's not the goal. That would just cause problems like no tomorrow.) I loved having 2-3 gravitational orbs and / or 2 phantasms strumming around. There are ways to make this work, make it fun without ruining the game. Honestly this was just the period I feel controllers were at their peak in enjoyment. Tanks were as well but the aggro cap is kind of necessary for obvious reasons. Haha. @ZEP, I do agree with you. But like I said I'm shooting for more nostalgia without overpowering. Even if fire trollers only saw an extra imp or two, the other controllers would benefit greatly from having the extra dps/control. Especially for people who don't focus end game and just enjoy the game/leveling alts and so on. -- Still though, this isn't just a focus on fire imps. I'm looking for ALL controller input. Anyone who has primary experience on another troller role. Mine has only been Ice/Gravity/Fire and Illusion (Barely) by memory. So that's what I'm speaking on behalf of.
  25. So I've been thinking on this for quite a while. I was never, ever happy with the nerf made to ALL CONTROLLER pets before hte release of masterminds (an effort by NcSoft to no doubt push their new pet AI system on us.) Truth be told, the game hasn't been the same for me since. I loved the pets in this game because no other game did it right. The imps made you feel like a fire lord of doom. Having 2-3 (even just a double stack on pets would be efficient enough to make it FEEL like a worthwhile class to solo to 32 with.) They don't have to be the end-all game makers like they use to be. 15 imps is too many. 5-10 is more than plenty. Heck instead of even double stacking, just double the numbers on some (I'd say honestly 8 imps would feel plenty. 6 even. But every other Controller should have at least 2.) This would definitely increase farming speed, but not enough to create a monster out of the already nerfed class. I've just never enjoyed them the same. CoH had it right initially, and as an avid pet-based player character, Ultima Online was the only game before this one to do it best. I want this to be open for discussion, critique and of course a way to figure out how to do this and get it balanced. Devs. This is the ONE major gripe i've had about this game was the stupid nerf to the pets. This was the one class that EARNED the pets they had. Can we change it since the game is FINALLY in the right hands? Share your thoughts, your ideas, your gripes and so on! I've missed this community.
