  1. so I went with a Grav/Energy (using teleport on Singy was the selling point,) seems fun but is only 19 right now so we will see what happens in another 10 lvls or so. Thank you for your help!

  2. I have rolled several Dominators trying to get a feel for the AT but so far I am not a fan of the roller coaster ride in between domination and non-domination, does anyone have suggestions on something that will fit my itch for control and slapping critters silly that doesn't require being a punching bag for a few minutes?  I have played every AT more than once and can make them all work for me except this one and frankly its starting to piss me off a bit. I know its me, but maybe there is a training wheels version in someones head I can borrow for a wee while?

    I have a plant/storm/stone that I absolutely love. He was my first 50 on homecoming and the first time I really got into playing a controller. The combo of seeds, creepers, tornado and lightning storm means you're a pseudopet mastermind. All the fun of having tons of minions, none of the worries about keeping them alive. As a former MM main that really appealed to me.
    I also like playing up close and personal so the stone epic is great as seismic smash really helps up the ST damage while still spamming out control. I only use hurricane situationally with my build. The damage and control this build can dish out is quite impressive. I have a build I'm pretty happy with if anyone is interested.

    I'm interested @Armaaz please, if you wouldn't mind showing your hand, I'd love to see it.

  5. I am an alt-holic gamer, its been 21 minutes since I last alt-ed

    Now that's out of the way I'll begin my testimony;

    I just read the comments on this post https://massivelyop.com/2019/08/16/the-soapbox-no-the-mmo-genre-is-not-dead-but-it-could-use-a-little-positivity/

    (if you're on mobile I aplogise but i wanted the full link in the interests of transparency)

    But I feel I want to say a thing to the Devs on Homecoming.

    Yo, guys, you're doing a great job! seriously!

    You brought my second favourite game and second MMO. back from the dead (sorry, Morrowind always has my heart)  and for that I respect you. This post in a lot of respects, is based on the comments from that post.

    Stay the course. It's working. People will come and they will  go, don't give in to the 'vocal minority' unless it's part of your goal anyway.

    I do DevOps myself (not useful to you guys or i would have volunteered unless you need ServiceNow) and I know how the yelling can get loud, but your vision, stated out loud the way you are doing it, does a lot to head it off at the pass.

    TL:DR, You're doing God's work guys, don't let the loud folk get to you.  Most of us love being home

    That set is one of the most dynamic sets I've ever played. On the private server, I had an Earth/Martial Dom. It was the most fun I had in the game since my Grav/Time, and others have commented dynamic and original every move looked.

    hey Waypoint, I just started one of these last night, dont suppose you ahve some pointers for me? Earth seems a lot of fun but I want to take everything (except the sleep) and thats plain unrealistic. I've run it through Pines a couple of times but have been unhappy with pretty much everything Ive done.

  7. absolutely, we need to get back to the old format of why a thing is a thing instead of just builds. I mean, they are great and all but the dialog of how someone was thinking made it a lot easier to a) see if the guide was going to be useful (and then read it anyway for potential synergy with your own play-style)  and b) (because im one of the aforementioned grizzled old vets) much more enjoyable to read because of ... things...

  8. thanks for posting these Philotic, they still bring a lump to the throat after all this time. I also wonder what happened to Jock, I wonder if he will also come forth with a smile both arrogant and confident (results pending) and set out to see the New World. I hope so.
