I never dabbled in the AH when we played years ago, and it still confuses me. I got a recipe drop I want to sell. It's orange, Call To Arms level 13, Acc/Dam/Rech. According to the auction house the sell price was 22 million the last 4 sales, but the fifth sale was a few hundred. So did the person who sold it for a few hundred royally mess up, or is the 22 million price an error? I've seen the same with other things, where the price jumps from millions to thousands on the same day. Can someone explain? Glad I decided to stick to SO's.

Hi all. My main and the character most would remember me as was Aerie. Little fairy empathy healer. If you were playing on Defiant between 2005 and 2010, chances are I healed you at least once. :) Was known as the Angel of the Hollows as I would regularly go there once she had 'retired' to heal and rez players. My supergroup was the Paragon Hero Elite. Wonder where all my old teammates and friends have got to. Mercury Angel, Blue Dragon, Azazel, Quantrail, Generalissimo, Esuna, Elskidor, Lily, Flush..to name a few. And my other friends I remember, Faulty, Mina, Tainted Greek...so many. Wherever you are, I hope your well.

44 years old. Started off on Ultima Online. Played that from 1997 to 2000. A classic, one of the very first MMO's. Still going I think. Then I played Neocron from 2000 to 2001. Was short lived, but a very good game. Fascinating world. Played City Of Heroes from 2005 till it was closed down. Was there at the final moment as the server was shut down for the last time, hundreds of players, torches held aloft around Atlas. I played WOW on and off and on and off over many years, with several year gaps in between from 2006 unti last year. Deleted all my characters so I wouldn't be tempted to ever go back, felt they ruined the game I once cared a lot for. Played Vanguard: Saga Of Heroes for a short time before it got shut down. A broken but richly rewarding game, which still had the best music in any MMO I had. Played Star Wars The Old Republic for about a year, was a good game, but once you'd done all the stories once it got stale fast. Played Guild Wars 2 for about a year, another good game until they messed around with it far too much. Dabbled with Eve Online and Elite Dangerous for a few months here and there but lost interest, although I still read the novels from both, rich universes for fiction. Which brings me back to this.

This is intended as a light hearted post about certain things that annoy your main character. NOT a dig at the game in any way. If you start by saying what your main is, and their powersets. So, Elec/Elec Brute. Things that annoy my character. 1 - Toxic damage, mostly those Vahziloks puking on me! I can take on a horde of Rikti without a scratch, but one load of puke and I'm dying. 2 - Tsoo kinetic attacks, like I get it, you want me to move slowly, do you really need to stack it about 20 times on me!? 3 - CoT maps. Don't think I'm alone here. 4 - Enemies that run away. While I know I'm scary, If I have to chase you, I'm bringing a world of hurt! I'm talking to you flying Longbow. 5 - Vanguard swords. Oh it's just a sword, that's ok I have decent resistances....what the hell! Why am I dead!? Those things really hurt!

Great that's exactly what I was after thanks. My main is electric armor, level 37, with SO's only. Energy resist has capped at 90%, lethal resist (with Tough) is at 59.01% and psi resist is at 41.30%. So I was curious about radiation armor and if it was a better choice than elec armor for what I was after. Sounds like it's a choice between those two, I'll think I'll go with rad since I've never had one before. Thanks for your help.

I had an idea for a themed character, the ultimate Vanguard agent. And I was wondering if anyone knew which armour type had the best overall resistances to the Rikti attack types, which I believe are energy, psionic and lethal? (big ol' sword). Also are Rikti more vulnerable to any certain attack type? Thanks for any advice.

At least it now REALLY feels like the City Of Heroes I remember from 14 years ago! :)
