  1. So, we have the excellent /buildsave command, but there's one limitation to it...

Can we please allow it to either take an argument (that would be the name the build saves as) or have it name the file the character's name?

Right now, if you want to to save multiple builds, you have to go out of the game and change the build.txt for name to something else or you just end up overwriting the file.

  2. On live there were certain costume parts that were locked behind content.  I disliked it, and I still dislike it.  Page 7 has some costume stuff locked behind the mongoose badge, I'm against that (even though mongoose is relatively easy to get)

I'm not seeing much point in Cloaking Device.

I can understand why it was added, perception reducing powers exist in the form of Smoke and Superior Invisibility on other control sets but mechanically it's redundant to have both of them. If the purpose of it was to provide a power that obscured the player; Smoke Grenade does that and more, the only real benefit is that it grants +DEF to the player and doesn't have a target cap. But, when compared to the Stealth pool power, it has the same stealth radius, but lower defense. Compared to Superior Invisibility, it has the same defense, but a lower stealth radius.

So with that said... why not just remove Cloaking Device? It's way more viable to just pick Stealth, and Smoke Grenade has way more versatility. It would be much more beneficial to have more control in the powerset, something like an AoE slow? The PPD have a Glue Grenade power that would work extremely well with this powerset. Either that or add in Wide Area Web Grenade from VEATs.

It actually has the same 200' non-breaking stealth radius of Superior Invisibility.  Looks to me to be an exact clone of it.  Also, Cloaking Device means you don't have to use one of your 4 power pools to get it.

  4. Mastermind self damage is laughably low, unfortunately.

Solo, I generally just leave my pets in bodyguard mode then use my attacks, you yourself don't do much damage, but your pets will attack whatever is attacking you.  On teams, it's a little more complicated, and I find myself switching between offensive and defensive modes pretty regularly.

Note that if you do want to do more damage late game, /storm is an excellent choice, though very endurance heavy.

  5. Yes, Leadership is still a good skill line to take

As for nature affinity, it depends on your goals, I like high-recharge builds for it, so I've got the following powers slotted as such:

    Regrowth - 6 Preventative Medicine

Wild Growth - 4 Recharge/Resistance IOs, 1 end redux (thats really only necessary on an MM)

    Spore Cloud - 4 Dark Watcher's Despair

    Wild Bastion - 5 Panacea, 1 recharge

    Overgrowth - 5 Adjusted Targeting

Corrosive Enzyme is a 1 slot wonder power, just an accuracy will do.

As for Epic pools, Mace mastery is always nice because it provides defense.

Soul Mastery is great for power boosting Regrowth

Rune of Protection in Sorcery is a great power, as it can act as a break free.  Not an epic pool, but just a thought.

  6. Maybe it just feels long because you're kneeling there not doing anything then, in which case, I retract my previous comment.

I did notice something weird one of the times that I cast it.  it was on an enemy, i tried to detonate it, but my gun drone killed the enemy before it went off.  This caused the bomb to drop, then detonate, but it looked like the bomb was still on the ground.

Tbh the set looks awful. And if it is like any other of the new power sets made by HC, I can't see it being used much!

Have you actually tried it or are you just nay saying?  It's got a lot of good mechanics to it and is pretty fun.
