    Well I fired up Dead by Daylight again for the first time in like a year and I'm hooked again.

     

    I have this pattern where I play something constantly and then one day I'm like "i dont wanna play this no more" and i dont touch it for months. Then I pick it up again and I'm like.. I love this game why did I stop? 

     

    The pattern continues forever

    I finished Deus Ex 2, and continuing on my cyperpunk game kick that I'm on right now (i think im just incredibly hyped for 2077) I started playing Observer, which is absolutely gorgeous, and the cyberpunk setting is everything I could possibly want visually from a cyberpunk theme game.

    Agree with the perspective on New Vegas, but I find Fallout 4 incredibly enjoyable.

     

    I've got some survival difficulty mods installed like a better injury/disease system, ammo and food scarcity, realistic non-bullet sponge combat and other stuff that really step it up for me.

    Maybe this doesn't offend you, but several LGBT people who I know and love have expressed their discomfort and distaste toward the name.

    It's not nitpicky. It's not unreasonable either, because it's not like this powerset is even in the live version of the game yet. It's a beta powerset, if the numbers can be cahnged, the name can be changed.

    Not sure what point you're making here other than giving me your opinion that it's not nitpicky. My opinion is that it is. Nothing I've said is any different.

    People looking to get offended are always going to find what they're looking for.

     

    I don't really care what happens regarding the name either way, but i'm betting the general population has absolutely no idea about.... whatever it is these "negative connotations are"

     

    The powerset naming convention is a far better argument. If you really want to campaign for a name change, I'd use that to throw your vote.

     

    Either way it's extremely nitpicky imo.

    Yeah? You had conversations with every single individual involved on the cake team and they all said they don't like every other server? Those were their exact words right?


    You polled all the other servers as well? They all said the same thing? Where did you log all of this data?

     

    No one for a second believes any of that here. You can take all of that fallacious hearsay to reddit. This community can and should be better than that.

    Again, absolutely not cool to speak on behalf of entire groups of people and throw everyone involved under an opinion umbrella. Rebirth, CoXG, Cake, none of those groups can defend themselves here and spreading that misinformation around on our forums doesn't help our community look good.

    Ay can we not make assumptions and speak on behalf of entire groups of people here? You'll never see anything from the HC team stating that they dislike any other server "group" for any reason.

    Stuff like this is how bad rumors get permeated.

    I replaced NewRave5_loop.ogg (the middle of the dance floor) because that's my least favorite music in that club and the one I've heard over and over probably the most.

     

    It was lacking something, so I used Audacity to add some reverb effect (to make it sound like it's coming from speakers in a large open club) and it's perfect! Sounds like it was built right into the game. 

     

    And if youre curious, this is the track I used

     

     

    Actually I don't mind doing this for other people if they want custom requested Pocket D club music... I may make a thread for it and credit you for the idea and the file structure.. I'll just provide the edited sound file.

    Were they to do so, that's opening up a can of worms that I would never want to deal with, especially with this community. Threads complaining about "lack of content" for a game they didn't even make are bad enough already.

     

    Can you imagine making a promise of things to come and not being able to deliver? This community would absolutely implode. 

     

    The HC team is doing exactly what I would be doing were I part of the team. Homecoming is a preservation of City of Heroes (with some cool enhancements thrown in), that's how I'd present it and that's what I'd always adhere to.


    Maybe we're working on some surprises (illusion MM pet character clones), maybe we're working on stability. We're doing our best. Anything you get is icing on the cake.
