I'm glad the strong and pretty devs are finally nerfing the OP-ness of Regen! Clearly, the handsome and sexy devs can do no wrong!
Anyone who plays regen should feel ASHAMED and EMBARASSED for playing such a broken and poopy set!
Also regen for tankers please.

Not everyone power-levels to 50 or only plays the 50's that they already leveled.
I think that some is pretty few and far between on most leveling teams.
But I guess it could depend on what server you are on.
The SO's becoming obsolete isn't so much of an issue when you can upgrade them.
Usually the upgrading doesn't cost that much.
If I know someone doesn't have the loot to upgrade on my team, I will usually give it to them. Helping them helps the team.
The irony of you saying not everyone power leveled to 50 and yet low level characters have infinite influence to be constantly upgrading their enhancements between levels is noted.

I wouldnt ever participate on a synapse hard mode though unless it was split into 2 or shortened. I dont have 7 hours for a hard mode synapse in its current form.
Hard mode synapse is just 20 defeat alls on large maps and they are all resurrecting freakshow with l33t speak names.

You'll get so many respecs that I'd just pick a build and try it. Or better yet, try making your own based on your experiences with the set as you level.
I recommend a Trick arrow/Archery defender built for recharge is a monster. Highly recommended.
Traps are just ok on defenders imho. For the sake of brevity, I'll just say I prefer it on corruptors more than anything.
Poison is another I don't play on defenders. I resolved my poison defender to a controller due to the final power being an aura and therefore worked better for a melee-oriented controller (fire/poison in my case).

I'd remove the hunt missions for sure or at least most of them- maybe replace them with a kill-all or two.
I like the Shadow Shard taskforces and would like to see hard mode versions of at least 1 of them some day.

Had an ice/ice/ice Dom back on live that, by the standards back then, was extremely powerful and useful to the team. Between the control, damage and even debuffing sleet, I felt like the toon could do it all.
Now I have a plant/psi/ice, elec/elec/mu, ice/ice/ice, dark/savage/power and I'll probably make an illusion/something/something at some point.
Dominators are just really active and require a level of concentration that I just don't get out of other AT's.

Low level characters have fewer slots available and some people don't fully slot using SO's at that time period due to how fast they become obsolete.

Because brutes are currently the worst AT by a massive margin despite being able to easily solo the vast majority of content with little effort, one of the most popular AT's and even has access to the most broken powerset, regen, we have decided to nerf brutes by buffing every other AT to be just as fun.

You might have to run an old school posi tf vs a posi 1 with the same group to judge how much of a difficulty difference you're looking at. I do like the Shadow Doppelganger event at the end of Posi 1. If I was competent and able to redesign, I'd have the defeated Shadow Doppelgangers reform with Rollister to make a Shadow Madness Mage AV for the final encounter of the tf, but het that's just me.
I think it's a combination of things:
Lack of slotting
General low level lack of power and abilities
Ruin mages have both a +Def AND -tohit power.
Spectrals have -tohit aura too.
Last mission requires teams to not pull extra groups
It's tough. I think Ruin mages should be part of the CoT at all levels and not just low level- as a challenge.
But yeah posi 1 is I think the perfect difficulty for a casual taskforce.

Controversial opinion: posi 1 is harder than most taskforces now. I've had more defeats during posi 1 than almost any other taskforce.
I like it. I love it. I want some more of it.
Seriously, I want challenging taskforces. Not so hard that I'm not going to bring a certain archetype but I want to have to think where to go and team coordination. Posi 1 is perfect difficulty wise IMHO.

Same. I thought it was a lag/latency issue but my stalker is now lvl46 so it hasn't been a 1-off issue. Being in a team definitely seems to make it worse.

To put it simply, when attacking on my elec/bio stalker, the attack animations seem to end abruptly and my character goes into the standard standing animation. This doesn't appear to have any effect on my powers but sometimes the attack animations don't even play. For example I'd I use assassin's shock, the character will stand in the idle animation while the attack goes off as if nothing is different.
This seems to occur in missions mostly but I can't 100% replicate the issue- maybe 80% of the time.
I do not have this issue on my ice/ice stalker or any other character. I think it has something to do with bio's hide power but I'm only guessing. Once I have the time, I'll try to get a video or something.

I think its rather annoying to. Their should be a "minimum fx" option or something. Bare in mind that this isnt a total fix but it would help. Imho opinion.

I agree entirely. It's incredibly obnoxious but more importantly it gets in the way of the action.
Just being able to move it to the side or something would be huge.
