PHNXDRK Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Hello. I installed the game yesterday for the first time. I can't run the game. Character creation is fine. Small instances are some what OK. But in the open world, the game becomes so laggy and slow, and the performance drops a lot. I tried changing the graphics to the lowest but it didnt help. I run a windows 10 with GeForce 920MX (updated to the latest version 441.12) Video RAM 6 GB CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6006U CPU @ 2.00GHz CPU speed 2 GHz RAM 8 G This site says my PC has the optimal requirements to run the game. https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/city-of-hesroes-going-rogue/10991 By the way, my Nvidia Geforce card seem to not detect the game. I dont know if that's a part of the problem. Plz help me! I've been waiting for years to play it! Thank you!
dmaker Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Do you happen to have both integrated and discrete graphics? With Nvidia cards, you sometimes have to add an application to the use discrete video list. This can be done in the Nvidia Control Panel (right click on your desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel). From there, go to 3d settings, then the program tab and add the exe for the game. This might fix your issue. It sounds like maybe you are using the integrated graphics for the game, rather than your nvidia chip. 1
PHNXDRK Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 Yes i'm using the integrated graphics card. Ill try your solution to run the game on Nvidia. And do you know how to run the game on 64 bits. My PC is windows 10 - 64 bits. And I think my game launcher is 32. How to change it? thanx!
PHNXDRK Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 Hi again, I just figured out how to run the game on the 64 launcher. For now everything seems to be working fine! Thank you!
dmaker Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Awesome! I'm glad everything worked out for you.
