A Global channel that works like the help channel

We do technically have a global channel but as far as I know there needs to be a command entered at the start of each sentence your want posted to it. I'm sure you all know how easy it is to use the help channel so I wont go into details about that. But my suggestion is to basically make the Global channel work just like the Help channel so that we all stop using it for casual chatting.

? you can select any channel you are subscribed to as your default chat channel just click on the channels, and select it from the popup list of channels

How exactly is this done? Because when I asked the help channel several times they always say the global channel doesn't work like the help channel.

 

Unless I'm mistaking the Gobal tab as a channel. If that's the case then we should probably have a global channel.

The global tab is a tab not a channel, there are a whole bunch of global channels, for example I have up "Excelsior" since I play on that shard,  you just need to join one, then click on the channel name of any channel chat (it may be right click) that will bring up a popup list of all the channels you are a member of, select the one you want to talk in, and it will become your default chat channel (sorry I can't be more helpful I've been unable to play for a few weeks)
