From the little I have found out there on the interwebs, it sounds like Stone/Fire are not the ideal pairing, however I am looking for this to fit a volcano themed hero. I don't need a perfect build, just a functional one that enables me to be effective in leveling/TF's etc. Thanks in advance for any and all advice. Shaya Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Trust me when I say a stone / fire / fire tank is a blast ^^ Had one at 50 and with a few io sets it becomes a fast moving powerhouse. My runspeed was as fast as superspeed when I didn't use rooted so hardly used teleport in the end. With rooted and granite on it was still perfectly manageable. LOL I don't suppose you have that character's build on Mids laying around somewhere? :D How did you get your runspeed so high? Did you slot out the Swift Inherent? Shaya Posted May 21, 2019 Share Posted May 21, 2019 Will see what I can do about a build after I get home from work, but yes you had to 3 slot swift and get the set bonuses that adds runspeed. Biggest problem I had back in the day was getting enough LoTG recharges for the recharge speed. But I remember using the smaller armors for general content and to get high defense against PSI damage. Another problem with the build especially during leveling up will be endurance. So make sure to slot for it. With the unique IOs that add recovery, recovery proc and a lot of end reds you will be fine in the end though. For end game with all the incarnate slots that didnt exist when I played and the unique archetype sets you will have enough defense, damage, recharge and runspeed to be really really good.
