It's really strange.  It seems like some unlockable contacts in COV do show up in Orobouros but others do not, or maybe they do not if you do not unlock the contact by their top level requirement.  For example, Archmage Tiraxius and Doc Buzzsaw are totally for me in Orobouros.  However, Johnny Sonata, even though he is unlocked for me, is not.  Nor is Ambassador Kurekt.

Is there a fix for this or are their story arcs lost to this character forever?

Actually, this isn't happening because of what I thought.  It's simply that, despite having 174 badges, I do not have the Obsessed badge.  I have the Praetorian equivalent.  And for some reason despite putting pirates in those ghost traps, I don't have the Pirate badge.  In fact I do not see it listed.  I do not know why.

Curious, are you playing a Praetorian in COV?  That would explain a lot.

Formerly a bunch of things that didn't work out.  Inactive account.  Not likely to return.

So I did 1-20 in Praetoria.  They gave me the option when I left through the portal.  I went to the Rogue Isles.  It seems like weird certain badges don't exist for me.  Pirate. for example.  All unlockable villain contacts basically give me the "cool we can work together" message.  Those quests are not in my flashback lists.

But not all.  I've got Archmage Tiraxus and Doc Buzzsaw for example.  Really weird.  I have gone to Pocket D bird and gone full circle too just to trip any morality things.  But I've been red this whole time (since I left Cole's world).

I think I'm understanding it better now.  Praetorians just can't get access to certain badges required to unlock certain contacts in Rogue Isles.

Pirate isn't on the list here... https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Praetorian_Defeat_Badges

Which is why I can't access:  https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Veluta_Lunata

Although, this is sort of dumb because Spectral badge shows up for me under the "Closest to completion" UI.  Even though it also is not listed on that page above.

For Johnny Sonata and Ambassador Kurekt, same deal.  Because I have the Praetorian versions of the "Obsessed" and "Native" badges, they won't unlock their flashbacks EVEN THOUGH their actual speech pop-ups do not play the "you do not have this badge" message but the "sure I got missions for ya" message.

Oh thanks!  Confounded paragonwiki.

i think Sonata’s and the Ambassador arcs are still no go for me due to them not unlocking due to the Praetorian equivalents.  If I’m getting that right?

if you still cant access to mission try first mission on either contacts

For Sonata : Steal something of Johnny's from Arachnos

For Ambassador Steal Rikti weapons from the Council

Well you can still unlock them after getting necessary badges..But if you outlevelled them you can use ouroboros instead.

Right, that’s where I’m stuck— they should show up in Oro and they do not.  I have 178 badges.  They should both.  No idea why not.  I’m guessing because I’m Praetorian born.

Yeah so lol, I've just about unlocked everything.  It does look though like due the rules for unlocking the Ambasaddor and Johnny, which truly is just semantical (due to me being born Praetorian) can never be unlocked.  That surprises me.  Everything else works and is on flashback.

Just to confirm, no Praetorians have Johnny Sonata or Ambassador Kuh'Rekt on their Orobous right?  This would be red side.  The arcs in question are 35-39 for Johnny (I think it's called "to save a soul" maybe), and 40-44 and called "Kuh'Rect Diplomacy."

If you were born Praetorian and show those in your flashback list when turned red, then this may actually be just a bug for me.  Regardless I think it's an oversight.  I wonder if Hero's can get those when they switch red?

Don't have those showing on my 50 redside Praetorian, either.
