Yakisoba
Good things: Youre rich! Man, that's a lot of excellent enhancements. super speed goes well with warshades; use that all the time. Might not delay Nova until 8. But with respecs it doesn't matter as much. Your goal is to approach without getting hit (port or speed/shadowcloak), eclipse, mire, mire again, heal up (circle), clean up (probably in Nova), make a fluffy, move on. This is a theoretical build to work towards. I am 50 now and in the process of slotting it up and working on my incarnates. I did make some tweaks so ill update it later with moving slots out of stygian return into health because the proc's won't fire in stygian return I believe. I also dropped unchain essence as it was redundant with the amount of AoE I had and my recharge.
Papaschtroumpf
How useful is combat jump? Do you use it much it is it a way to slot an LoTG? I took it "accidentally" on my warshade (I brainfarted and thought it was an auto/passive ability) but since it's a toggle I never use it. I'm rarely I human form long enough to bother, and use TP/niva flight to get vertical movement. Just curious and trying to be more educated, not a criticism. Mainly just to slot a LoTG, also why I took all the stealth powers and maneuvers. Just helps boost that recharge up. I do create a macro where I just spam one button and it turns on combat jumping, SS, and cloak so that it makes stealthing and traveling easier. I've made a few tweaks, dropped hasten to 2 slots as 3rd wasn't needed so i'll have to post my updated build tonight. Working quite well so far, once I hit ecclipse im a damn tank and its nearly perma atm. Can stack mires, and unleash damage and sometimes i'll switch to dwarf form if it drops and i need extra defense before I can fire it off again. Drop in and out to fire off holds, disorients, etc. Loads of fun, and i've tanked for teams in dwarf form if we didnt have one ,and been a major dps contributor when we do so lots of versatility and most importantly its fun (to me at least)
Papaschtroumpf
Karma KB protection is slotted in shadow cloak. Why not into the default slot if absorption? I assume it works in passives?
Papaschtroumpf
Do you also have "too much invisibility"? Superspeed has -perception on its own and so does shadow cloak, so when both are on you are invisible to all but a handful of does with high perception. Does that extra +stealth in superspeed makes you invisible to those? I though perception only stacked twice.
Justaris
Karma KB protection is slotted in shadow cloak. Why not into the default slot if absorption? I assume it works in passives? Absorption is Resistance, and Karma is a Defense set, the only power other than pool powers like Combat Jumping you can put it into would be Shadow Cloak since it's the only one giving Defense. However, Steadfast Protection -KB is basically the same thing and could be slotted there. There can be no defense like elaborate courtesy - E.V. Superspeed has -perception on its own and so does shadow cloak, so when both are on you are invisible to all but a handful of does with high perception. Does that extra +stealth in superspeed makes you invisible to those? I though perception only stacked twice. Super speed gives 35 feet of stealth. Coupled with Shadow Cloak (35'), you're generally well-protected against detection from anything short of Giant Monsters & Turrets (100'), sniper-type enemies (149'). Putting a Stealth IO in brings you up to 100 feet of stealth, so as long as you're more than a foot away, giant monsters can't see you. Activate Nebulous Form (cyclic 20' of stealth) and even GMs have a hard time picking you up. At that point, the only things spotting you are sniper-type enemies; as well as Knives of Artemis, Rikti Drones, and Rularuu Sentinels (All of whom flat-out ignore Stealth) And ambushes, because they always know exactly where you are. Be excellent to eachother! Penumbra Dancer, Everlasting; Warshade
Papaschtroumpf
thanks for the answers. I should have been more clear about my KB protection question, mostly pointing out it could save a slot by putting the streadfast one in the unslotted resist power.
