Rad/Invul

Cannot believe i havent tried this yet. But i had not. I am an old stick in the mud running invul tanks and brutes with SS and DM lol

 

i rolled one for an ugly character contest and then just ran them through 4 DFBs. Went to sleep. Got up this morning and ran through (in this order) Synapse, Posi2, Posi1, 1st blue Respec, and a Manticore. I am not disliking it

 

it is possible i might even add it to my narrow list of characters i really enjoy smashing with

 

so... i am taking a SS/Invul Build and trying to slam that into the Rad/Invul. The fit is not perfect but it gives me the basics.  I am wondering if the 2 PBAoEs make it easier ti hit build goals or harder. 
 

anyone have a Super Tanky build for this?  I am throwing all the usual suspects at it

Add a Gaussian's Chance for Buildup to Invinc.  Put Achilles Heel -Resist and Analyze Weakness +ToHit in your Irradiated Ground.  Slot your self heal attack with accuracy, recharge, and healing; you're a brute, the damage will take care of itself.  Touch of Nictus is good there. Don't bother with Proton Sweep; I respecced out of it and do not miss it.  The rest you already probably know: four Kinetic Combat/two Crushing Impact with accuracy in your single target attacks.   The brute set bonuses should put you well on the way to the resistance softcaps.
