SurfD Posted February 19, 2020 Posted February 19, 2020 Went to fire the game up to play around a bit more before calling it a night, Tequila downloaded some new data, and now my Panda Security Antivirus is flagging the CoH executable as being infected with w32/exploit.gen? Wasn't getting any issues running things before this recent update. Can this be assumed to be a false positive?
Lead Game Master GM Korvin Posted February 19, 2020 Lead Game Master Posted February 19, 2020 As per the Tequila Guide & FAQ, it is a false positive - antiviruses tend to mark any program that downloads files as dangerous, even if, in Tequila's case, it's just to retrieve the game files needed to play City of Heroes.
