ScarySai Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Back on the I24 beta, the assault rifle instant-snipe had a few issues with it. Thankfully, the redraw problem is essentially a non-issue now, but it doesn't fire instantly like it did back then. AR's snipe in i24 was the fastest in the game at about 0.60ish seconds to fire off, now it takes roughly 3s as your character lines up a shot. If that's intended behavior for now, fine - but it's not how it worked back then, so I figured something was up. The instant-firing is what was going to make AR paired with either energy or devices a pretty insane combo.

Super Homer Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 Remember this actually from beta: they reworked at least some snipes that were WAY too fast in fast form, recall this one in particular being name dropped somewhere. Fast snipes don't actually "remove" the interrupt, they execute different versions of the powers that happen to not have an interrupt. They may have different animations, even if similar.
