So i don't know how reasonable the suggestion is, but would it be possible for an alternate animation for after burner to turn us into either a sky raider skiff, or a longbow flier? Id love to have a vehicle style of flight, and since afterburner stops you from activating powers that affect anything but yourself, the animation problem is at least partially solved.
