Didn't find anything on this in a quick search through Suggestions, but I didn't go back through all the beta threads, so apologies if this has a discussion already...

Suggestion first: Can there be some kind of coding in the chain powers, to the effect that if the player is solo and has Galvanic Sentinel out, that GS be targeted as part of the power activation, instead of requiring either a separate click or a bind/macro?

Alternative suggestion: Make it so GS actually targets mobs, so it can be selected as a target and the player still be able to attack enemies (basically the same as targeting through the tank/MM pet/hami spotter).

Backstory: I rolled up a Pistols/ElA corruptor, and tonight took him on his first real solo adventure (L21, Montague's arc). Long story short, the initial C'idion encounter was the first in countless runs where I've had a hospital trip, because of the extra time and click required to target my GS in order to use a heal (which obviously I did not time correctly). I thought I read somewhere that clicking the heal was sposed to auto-target GS if there were no allies around, but that didn't happen even after attempting to switch enemy targets first (which for the record has worked for me on teams - I'll have an enemy targeted, quickly tab to another enemy, and can still hit the heal/buff and it will go to a teammate anyway, I presume one that has the enemy targeted). In that same vein, I tried selecting GS and then targeting through it, but it doesn't seem to actually target enemies when it's zapping them, so I could not attack through it.

I freely concede that I might just be bad. But as a quality of life thing, can this be accomplished to make it slightly less clicky / time-delayed to apply self-heals and buffs?

repeating what I just said in another thread..the chain powers, and the heal especially, NEEDING a target to work...is absolutely idiotic. Even in a set with a pet.

From a flavour perspective it's great. Mechanically and actually, not so much. Which sucks because the more I play the set, the more I enjoy it.
