MM Dark/Thug

So I just started a dark thug mastermind. I really like the combo. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what powers are most important to slot? Are there some powers should NEVER slot ( id assume equip thugs shouldn't be slotted since it will be replaced with another buff power later) I don't expect a full build out but any tips to get me started would really help. Thanks!

Equip Thugs doesn't get replaced; it gets complemented. There are very few powers, if any at all, that ever get replaced in the same powerset. 

 

And as for what to skip, as a rule of thumb, you generally want to skip the attacks on your MM's primary
